Before You Begin
This cleaner must be operated in accordance with these instructions and used
only for domestic household cleaning to remove DRY dirt and dust from
household carpets, flooring, walls and fabrics. This cleaner is not fi t to be
used as an industrial cleaner and will void the manufacturer’s warranty if
used inappropriately.
Please read these instructions thoroughly
This will ensure you obtain full benefit from your new cleaner. Keep this
instruction manual in a handy place for future reference.
Important
Always switch off the vacuum cleaner before cleaning, attempting any
maintenance task, fitting or removing accessories, or when not in use. The
charger must only be connected to an AC power supply at the voltage shown on
the rating label. This cleaner should only be charged with the charger
provided. This cleaner should only be used for its intended purpose as
described in these instructions.
Precautionary measures:

5. Do not use this vacuum cleaner to pick up water or liquids.
Before You Begin & Safety Precautions
Safety Precautions & Warnings
IMPORTANT! Always switch off the vacuum cleaner before cleaning, when not
in use or attempting any maintenance task. The charger must only be connected
to an AC
power supply at the voltage shown on the rating label. This cleaner should
only be used for its intended purpose as described in this instruction manual.
Never operate the vacuum cleaner without filters. Read the manual attentively
before using the vacuum cleaner for the first time.
When using your vacuum cleaner, basic precautions should always be observed, including the following;
- This vacuum cleaner is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the vacuum cleaner by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the vacuum cleaner.
- To prevent electrical shock, do not immerse the vacuum cleaner, battery, or power plug into water or other liquids.
- To prevent electrical shock, do not use the vacuum cleaner outdoors or on wet surfaces.
- Always check the power cord before use, the power cord and the plug should be in a good condition and must not be damaged. If the power supply cord is damaged or defective, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- The vacuum cleaner and charging base are intended for domestic indoor use only.
- Do not unplug by pulling on the power cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the power cord. Use only Australian and New Zealand electrical safety-approved extension cords.
- Do not pull or carry the vacuum cleaner by the power cable, use the power cable as a handle or pull the power cable around sharp edges or corners. Avoid running the vacuum cleaner over the power cable.
- Do not handle or operate the vacuum cleaner with wet hands and follow electrical safety precautions at all times.
- Extreme caution should be exercised when using the vacuum cleaner on stairs.
- Do not attempt to change the attachments while the vacuum cleaner is switched on. Use only the manufacturer’s recommended accessories.
- Do not operate the vacuum cleaner too close to heaters, radiators and other hot surfaces.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner to pick up flammable items or combustible liquids (i.e. gasoline, hot ashes, cigarettes, matches, explosive materials or anything burning) or use in areas where such substances and items may be present.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner to pick up toxic materials (i.e. chlorine bleach, ammonia).
- Never operate or use the vacuum cleaner without the filters in place.
- Before vacuuming, remove any large or sharp objects from the floor or cleaning surface in order to prevent damage to the filter.
- If the air inlet or floor head is blocked, switch off the cleaner straight away. Clear the blocked object before attempting to start the vacuum cleaner again.
- Before carrying out any maintenance service or cleaning the filters, always switch off the vacuum cleaner.
- Keep openings away from your face and body.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner if it is damaged or broken. If connection cables are damaged, have them replaced immediately.
- Never clean the vacuum cleaner or any of the electrical parts, especially the electrical connections, with water or liquid cleaners.
- Never attempt to make any electrical modifications to the vacuum cleaner and charging base.
- Always store the vacuum cleaner and charger indoors in a cool and dry place.
- Do not pick up water, for dry household use only25. Use the electric power head only for vacuuming dust and dry substances in the home.
- Never run over the power cable with the power head as this may cause damage to the power cable.
- Never touch the roller brush while the vacuum cleaner is switched on.
- To prevent unnecessary wear on the power head, keep it moving while in operation.
- Damage caused by improper use or by not observing the instructions in this manual will void the warranty.
Battery use and care
- The vacuum cleaner is only to be used with the charger provided with the vacuum cleaner.
- Only charge the battery inside the product and only use the specifically designated charger to charge the product.
- When the vacuum cleaner is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the vacuum cleaner terminals together may cause burns or a fi re.
- Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, fl ush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
- Do not charge or store the vacuum cleaner outdoors or inside the car. Only charge or store the battery in a dry indoor area where the temperature is more than 5 o C but less than 45 o C. The charger is for indoor use only.
- Never attempt to open the battery for any reason. If the plastic housing of the battery casing breaks or cracks, immediately discontinue use and do not recharge.
- The charging adaptor contains electrical connections inside. The charging adaptor is not a serviceable part.
- Before disposal of your battery, fully discharge your battery by running the product until it stops.
- The cleaner contains a Li-Ion battery. Do not dispose of the vacuum cleaner with your local garbage. Contact your local council for instructions on how to safely dispose of the battery.
- Do not use the charger to charge a non-chargeable battery.
- Do not touch or insert objects into the battery pack terminal.
- Do not attempt to short-circuit the battery terminal.

Assembly
IMPORTANT! Always remove the battery from the vacuum cleaner before
fitting or removing accessories.

Insert the power head into the rod. You will hear a “click” sound when it is securely in place.

Insert the opposite end of the rod into the air inlet of the cleaner. You will hear a “click” sound when it is securely in place.
Installing and removing the battery
- Insert the battery into the cleaner (as shown) until it clicks into place.
- To remove the battery, press the battery release button and gently pull the battery from the cleaner.
Instructions for Use
On/off button
Press the on/off button to turn the cleaner on or off.
Continuous mode switch
- The cleaner can be operated without constantly holding down the on/ off button. To enable continuous mode, push the continuous mode switch (as shown) until it clicks into place.
- To disable continuous mode, push the continuous mode switch in the opposite direction until it clicks into place.
ATTENTION: After each use, ensure that the continuous mode switch is
disabled. Failure to do so may cause battery failure.
NOTE: It is recommended to charge your cleaner after each use to maintain
maximum performance. Power select button
- The cleaner has two power modes: high power and low power. When turned on, the cleaner will automatically enter high-power mode. To select low power mode, press the power select button.
- To return the cleaner to high power mode, press the power select button a second time.
Instructions for Use
Charging the vacuum cleaner
NOTE: When the charging indicator light is flashing blue during use, the
vacuum cleaner battery is running low and requires charging.
- Insert the charger into the charging port of the vacuum cleaner.
Charging indicator light:
When the charging indicator light is flashing blue, the vacuum cleaner is being charged.
When the charging indicator light turns off, the vacuum cleaner is fully charged.
NOTE: This product requires up to 4 hours to be fully charged.
CAUTION! Do not try to open the battery and repair it yourself.
NOTE: As a safety precaution, the vacuum cannot be switched on while the
vacuum is charging.
CAUTION! The charging adaptor contains electrical connections inside. The
charging adaptor is not a serviceable part.
IMPORTANT! Disconnect the charging adaptor from the mains power supply
when the charging
adaptor is not connected to the cleaner. Always use the manufacturer’s
recommended charger.
Accessories
CAUTION! Always switch off the vacuum cleaner and remove the battery
before fitting or removing accessories.
NOTE: As a safety precaution, the power head and mini motorized pet brush
will not switch on if inserted into the cleaner while it is operational.
Power head
Ideal for daily cleaning on carpets and hard floors.
NOTE: If the power head is blocked, the motor will switch off
automatically. If this occurs, switch off the vacuum cleaner and remove the
battery. Remove any blockages from the power head and switch the vacuum
cleaner on again. If the power head does not start again after cleaning, do
not try to dismantle power head. Please contact your local Godfreys store.
WARNING! The cleaner’s brush will continuously rotate while the
continuous mode is engaged. To avoid damaging floor surfaces, never leave the
cleaner in a stationary position while the continuous mode is engaged.
IMPORTANT! The cleaner is not free-standing. In between uses or when
performing any maintenance, ensure the cleaner is laid on a flat surface in a
safe and suitable location.

IMPORTANT!
- Keep hair, hands and feet away from rotating parts while the motorized brush is running.
- Do not run the motorized brush over electrical cables or strings.
- Do not use the motorized brush on pets.
- If children are present, always turn off the vacuum cleaner when leaving the motorized brush unattended.
- Do not attempt to service, clean or unclog the motorized brush while the vacuum cleaner is running.
Maintenance
IMPORTANT! Always remove the battery from the vacuum cleaner before
performing any maintenance tasks. It is recommended to clean the dust bin
after each use or when dust reaches the max fill line.
Storage
- Installing a wall bracket
- Place the vacuum cleaner onto the wall storage bracket (as shown).
NOTE: If the vacuum cleaner will not be used for a long period of time, it is recommended to remove the battery from the machine during storage to maintain battery life.
NOTE: For proper wall mounting, the power head must be flat on the ground.
NOTE: The wall mount is designed to support the cleaner and prevent it from falling. Do not use the wall mount to hang the cleaner above the ground.
Emptying the dustbin
- Hold the cleaner over a rubbish bin and press the dust bin release button to open and empty the dust bin.
Replacing the dust bin filter
- Gently pull the dust bin filter from the dust bin. Clean or replace the dust bin filter, placing it back into the dust bin.
NOTE: It is recommended to clean the dust bin filter after every use and to replace the dust bin filter every six months.
Cleaning the cyclone separator
- Press the dust bin lid release button to open the lid and access the cyclone separator.
- Turn the cyclone separator clockwise to release it from the dust bin (as shown).
- Gently pull the cyclone separator from the dust bin to clean it, then reverse the process to place it back in the dust bin.
NOTE: Do not use water to clean the cyclone separator.
Cleaning or replacing the exhaust filter
- Press the exhaust filter release buttons and gently pull the exhaust filter from the cleaner.
- Carefully clean the exhaust filter or replace it with a new one, sliding it back into place in the cleaner.
NOTE: It is recommended to replace the exhaust filter every six months.
Cleaning the roller brush
WARNING! To reduce the risk of personal injury, remove the power head
from the rod before cleaning and servicing the roller brush.
- Using a flat-head screwdriver or coin, turn the locking tab to the unlock position. The locking tab can now be removed to access the roller brush.
- Gently remove the roller brush from the power head. Carefully cut away any hair or debris caught on the roller brush, then reverse the process to place it back into the power head.

**Conditions of warranty**
Your cleaner, in the case of domestic use, has a two-year part and labor
warranty against product defects and failures when the product is used in
accordance with the terms and conditions of this warranty statement.
This warranty commences from the original date of purchase and is not
transferable; please retain your original proof of purchase for any warranty
claims. This warranty is valid only in the country where the cleaner is
purchased.
The cleaner must be operated in accordance with these instructions and used
only for domestic household cleaning to remove DRY dirt and dust from
household carpets, flooring and fabrics. This cleaner is not fi t to be used
as an industrial cleaner, and is not designed for the collection of vitreous
building material including particle board,
construction products and similar products such as wood/fibres, cement,
fillers, fibre glass etc or excessive or frequent sand. The infrequent pick-up
of these materials in these circumstances may be harmful to your cleaner and
may void the manufacturer’s warranty. Accessories and consumables including
dust bags and filters, unless defective in manufacture, are not subject to
this warranty. In order to prolong the life of accessories and consumables,
regular care and maintenance is recommended.
When properly used and cared for, your cleaner will render excellent service;
refer to the instruction manual for further details, as misuse or failure to
follow the instructions makes this warranty void. In the event of service or
advice being needed, please contact Electrical Home-Aids Pty. Limited, Brandon
Offi ce Park, Building 3, First Floor, 530-540 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley,
Victoria, 3150, or on 1800 815 270 (AUS) or 0800 282 288 (NZ), Monday-Friday
9am-5pm EST. The decision to repair o replace the cleaner is at the sole
discretion of Electrical Home-Aids Pty. Limited. If Electrical Home-Aids Pty.
Limited decide to repair or replace the cleaner, it will do so at its own
cost.
Electrical Home-Aids Pty. Limited is unable to accept responsibility under
this warranty for any repair work not carried out by an authorized Service
Agent or from the use of non-genuine parts. If any part is no longer available
or manufactured, Electrical Home-Aids Pty. Limited will replace it with a
genuine functional replacement part. This warranty does not apply to the cost
of replacing any parts of the product due to normal wear and tear,
alterations, improper installation, physical abuse, misuse or accidental
damage. Any transportation costs involved in the repair of defective parts
shall be borne by the claimant.
If proof of purchase cannot be provided at the time of a warranty claim or
service, any work carried out on the cleaner is chargeable. The repair of the
cleaner under this warranty does not extend the original period of warranty.
The benefi ts conferred by this warranty are in addition to all other rights
and remedies in respect of the product as outlined under the Competition and
Consumer Act and other State and Territory laws. “Our goods come with
guarantees that cannot be excluded in the Australian Consumer Law. You are
entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation
for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to
have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of
acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.”Two-
year warranty on parts and labor excluding the battery which has a one-year
warranty.
