Safety Precautions

The user of this accessory is responsible for reading, understanding and following all warnings and precautions prior to operation. Failure to follow all warnings and precautions may result in property damage, serious personal injury, or death.

  • NEVER use in the vicinity of power lines, junction boxes or power sockets.
  •  NEVER use the STREAMVAC™ to clean people or animals.
  • The STREAMVAC™ must only be used by a trained person authorized to do so.
  • This instruction leaflet must be made available for consultation by the user.
  • DO NOT attempt to modify the STREAMVAC™ as this could cause a safety hazard.
  •  NEVER use faulty components.
  • If there is visible damage to the STREAMVAC™ fittings – replace them immediately with original spare parts.
  •  Only use spare parts from the manufacturer (STREAMLINE®).
  •  Appropriate clothing and safety shoes should be worn when operating the tool.
  • ALWAYS read, understand and follow operation instructions.
  • ALWAYS make certain area is clear of obstructions or hazards.

Applications

The STREAMVAC™ is designed to remove debris from commercial and residential gutters, whilst keeping both feet on the ground! The sectional pole is connected together to access heights of up to 48 feet. Various nozzle attachments can be used for different applications.

Instructions for use

Set-Up

  •  Make sure that the STREAMVAC™ is operating on a level and firm surface. Lock the front castor wheels when in use.
  • Make sure that the filter element is in place.
  • Make sure that electrical supply lead is protected against damage and is out of the way of traffic. Make sure that you are displaying sufficient ‘Trip Hazard’ warning signs. Electrical connections should be kept dry at all times.
  •  Connect the suction hose to the inlet on the front of the STREAMVAC™.
  •  Attach the aluminium swan neck to the female taper end of a Carbon Fibre pole section. Join the Carbon Fibre pole sections together with the narrow taper end pointing to the ground.
  •  Join the desired number of sections together, using the wall of the building, to support the pole until the gutter can be accessed. (A support pole may be required if the pole exceeds 30 foot.)
  • Use the gutter of the building to support the swan neck, if necessary, whilst connecting the suction hose to the base section.

Operating Instructions

  •  Switch the STREAMVAC™ on, by selecting either speed 1 or speed 2.
  •  Slowly ‘rake’ the debris in the base of the gutter, sucking it up when it becomes loose.
  • Should the sections or hose become blocked, lower the pole and suck up some water from a container, which will loosen the obstruction and clear the hose.

Emptying The Drum

  • When the drum becomes full, emptythe contents as follows; Ensure that the front castors are in the locked position. To use the tipping mechanism, remove the STREAMVAC™ head assembly by releasing to two clips on either side of the drum. Remove the suction hose. Lift the drum up, by using the hand grip at the base of the drum, and tip the contents out.
  •  Reverse the procedures above toresume cleaning.
  • Use the ‘Push & Clean’ feature to clean the filter element. Switch the STREAMVAC™ on to speed 2. Hold your hand over the end of the flexi hose and depress the ‘Push & Clean’ button three times.

Cleaning Up & Maintenance

  •  When the cleaning operation is complete, disassemble the Carbon Fibre pole sections, and rinse them thoroughly with clean water. Clean and dry the male and female connecting taper of each pole section. Lubricate the male taper with Vaseline or bees wax.
  • Suck clean water through the flexi hose to flush the system out.
  •  Remove the STREAMVAC™ head assembly and carefully rinse the outside of the filter cartridge with clean water. Allow it to dry and reassemble the STREAMVAC™.

STREAMLINE Warranty

The warranty on all Machines and Equipment is for 1 year (12-months) from the RECORDED DATE OF PURCHASE. THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES NORMAL MAINTENANCE ITEMS, including but not limited to HOSES, FILTERS, O-RINGS, DIAPHRAGMS, VALVES, GASKETS, CARBON BRUSHES and damage to motors and other components as a result of failure to replace normal maintenance items. THIS LIST IS NOT EXHAUSTIVE. If STREAMLINE® receives notice of such defects during the warranty period, STREAMLINE® will either, at its opinion, repair or replace components which prove to be defective. Replacement parts will only be supplied under warranty, upon the inspection and approval of the defective parts by STREAMLINE®. Should it be necessary to supply replacement parts before the opportunity to inspect, these will be charged at current prices and credit will only be issued upon subsequent inspection and warranty approval by STREAMLINE®. The customer is responsible for the cost of return of the defective part. If warranty is approved, STREAMLINE® will pay for the cost of the repaired or replacement part.This warranty excludes the following conditions and circumstances which are at the discretion of STREAMLINE®:

Wear and tear, misuse, abuse improper maintenance, frost damage, the use of chemicals other than those supplied or approved by STREAMLINE®, improper installation or repair, unauthorised modification, incidental or consequential costs, loss or damage, service, labour or third party charges, the cost of returning defective parts to STREAMLINE®. This warranty constitutes the exclusive remedy of any purchaser of a STREAMLINE® unit and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for use, to the fullest extent permitted by law. In no event shall any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for use exceed the term of the applicable warranty stated above and STREAMLINE® shall have no other obligation or liability.
