UNPACKING CHECKLIST

APPEARANCE COMPONENT

  • “I ” means that the printer is started;
  • “0” means that the printer is closed.
  • Connect the round-hole power cord.
  • Connect to the computer for printing.
  • Connect to the cashbox.

INSTALLATION OF CONSUMABLES

  1. Make sure that the printer is powered on and started up.

  2. Press the uncovering button down with your thumb, to open the paper case cover.

  3. Take the label shaft and baffle out, and slip the roll over the label shaft.
    Install roll set into the printer from top to bottom

  4. Place the label paper at right position.

  5. Close the paper case cover.
    **** When the register paper is printed, take the label shaft and baffle out, directly put into paper case, and follow steps 4~5.

PRECAUTIONS

Precautions for use of the printer

  1. The printer shall be installed at a steady location, away from vibration and impact.
  2. DO NOT use or store the printer at any place with high temperature, high humidity or serious contamination.
  3. Connect the power adapter of the printer to an appropriate grounding socket. DO NOT share the same socket with a large motor or other equipment that may lead to voltage fluctuation of the power supply.
  4. Strictly prevent water or conductive substances (i.e. metal) from entering the printer. In case of any invasion, immediately shut off the power supply.
  5. The printer must not work without paper,otherwise, roller and thermo-sensitive print head may be seriously damaged.
  6. Please shut off the power adapter if the printer will not be used for a long term
  7. The user must not disassemble the printer for maintenance or modification without authorization.
  8. Only the power adapter delivered together with the printer can be used.
  9. To ensure the printing quality and product life,it is advised to use high-quality paper.
  10. Please assure that the printer is powered off, before plugging/ unplugging the connecting wire.
  11. The power plug of the adapter is the power disconnection device. Its socket shall be installed nearby the equipment and easy to be accessed.
  12. This product is applicable to tropical climatic conditions no higher than 5,000 above sea level only.

Printer cleaning

Under any of the following circumstances, the print head shall be promptly cleaned:

  1. Printing is not clear.
  2. Some column on the printed page is unclear.
  3. It is noisy in the course of paper feeding.

Cleaning steps for the print head are as follows:

  1. Turn off the power supply, open the top cover and remove the paper if any.
  2. If the printing is just finished, wait until the print head is cooled completely.
  3. Remove dust and dirt on the surface of a thermo-sensitive sheet of the print head with soft cotton cloth with ethanol absolute (wrung out).
  4. After complete volatilization of ethanol absolute, close the top cover and re-commission for printing

Cautions

  1. Before routine maintenance, you must ensure that the printer is powered off.
  2. DO NOT touch the surface of the print head with your hand or metal. DO NOT use tweezers or such tools to scratch the surface of the print head, roller, and sensor.
  3. DO NOT use gasoline, acetone or such organic solvent.
  4. After complete volatilization of ethanol absolute, turn on the power and proceed with printing.

–Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
–Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
–Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different. from that to which the receiver is connected.
–Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
