WHAT’s INCLUDED

  • Car stereo
  • remote control
  • brackets
  • connecting wires
  • butt connectors
  • user manual.

HOW TO INSTALL

The first step is to complete your vehicle wiring harness, then connect it. To do so, use the wire remover to strip the wires back. Twist the wires into a neat, homogeneous shape. Take the butt connector and place it on the wire after twisting the wires, and you’ll have your crimp. All of the wires should be zip tied together. Mount the item after attaching the car stereo harness. Remove the stock car stereo’s Metra-supplied brackets. Place the new car stereo next to the old one, and slide the bracket over the new stereo. In the ISO mount application, the dash kit sandwiches into the factory mounting bracket. Place everything in its proper place. Reverse the process on the right-hand side of the stereo.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the size of all double DIN stereos the same?
Double din radios aren’t all the same size. They come in a variety of forms and sizes, so be sure you pick one that will fit in your vehicle. Taking measurements of your present head unit before going shopping for a new one is the easiest method to do this.

  • What is the double DIN standard size?
Most radio chassis have dimensions of roughly 178 mm by 50 mm, according to Wikipedia. The double-DIN (also known as 2-DIN) standard specifies a unit that is twice the height of a conventional DIN radio, measuring 180 by 100 mm (7 by 4 inches).

  • What does HFP stand for in a car stereo?
A hands-Free Profile is a profile that does not require the use of your hands. The Bluetooth Hands-Free Profile (HFP) allows the car to make and receive phone calls through a remote device connected to it.

  • How can I listen to music on the radio without using a transmitter?
Connect the audio cord from the cassette tape adapter to the phone’s headphone jack. In the cassette slot, insert the adaptor. Browse the menu on the audio system to find the “tape” mode and push play. The song will begin to play, and you can adjust the volume as desired.

  • How do you calculate the dimensions of a double-DIN radio?
It’s a single DIN head unit if it’s around 7 inches long by 2 inches in height, and you’ll need to replace it with another single DIN unit. It’s double-DIN if your radio is around 7 inches length by 4 inches in height.
