Operation Instructions

Voice prompts can be heard and the status of the LED indicator shows differently as per different functions during the use of this product.

Turn On/Off

In the OFF status, press and hold either side ON/OFF button for 3 sec to power on left or right frame only, followed by a voice prompt “Power On”. While press and hold both sides ON/OFF button for 3 sec to power on both left and right frames simultaneously, followed by a voice prompt “Power On”
In the ON status, press and hold the one side ON/OFF button for 3 sec to power off the left or right frame only, followed by a voice prompt “Power Off”; Press and hold both sides ON/OFF buttons for 3 sec to power off both left and right frames simultaneously, followed by a voice prompt “Power Off”. .
Bluetooth Connection
In the OFF status, press and hold either side ON/OFF button for 3 sec to power on the left or right frame only, e.g. turn on the left side frame. After then, press and hold the ON/OFF button of the other side frame for 10 sec, till the blue and red lights simultaneously flash and accompanied by a voice prompt first “Power On” and then turn to “Pairing”. (The side in pairing status is the main connection side ) Locate the Bluetooth menu on the device you are using and select “Rocklin”, then click it for Pairing. A voice prompt “connected” can be heard when pairing has succeeded.

  1. For the IOS system, when the main connection side connects successfully with Bluetooth, the other side frame will automatically interconnect with Bluetooth.
  2. For the Android system, after the main connection side connects successfully with Bluetooth, a new Bluetooth pairing request will pop up again in your device and you need to manually click “PAIR” to connect with Bluetooth.

Notes:

  1. Pair the glasses to a standby device for the first use. After pairing, re-pairing is unnecessary for the connection to the same device if “Rocklin” isn’t deleted from the Bluetooth menu of the device. After the glasses are turned on, they will automatically reconnect to the device or you can select “Rocklin” for pairing from the Bluetooth menu of this device
  2. When you delete “Rocklin” from the Bluetooth menu of a connected device, please power off the glasses first and follow the previous steps of Bluetooth connection for pairing with a new device
  3. The glasses turn off automatically 14 minutes after they are unconnected or fail to connect to the device
  4. If out of range (more than 10 meters) when connected to a device, the glasses will disconnect from the device. Once back within range, it will automatically reconnect within 1 minute. Single-click the On/Off button to make the glasses reconnect to the device if 5 minutes pass.

Play/Pause
Music Follow the above instructions to turn on the glasses and pair them to a mobile phone or a desktop. Start a music player from your mobile phone or desktop and wear the glasses to enjoy music. The music stops playing when the music player is closed from your mobile phone or desktop.

Operation instructions:

  1. Play/Pause: Single click On/Off button on either side to pause music under playback status. Single-click the On/Off button on either side to play music under pause status.
  2. Volume Adjustment and Song Switch:One-button design has no access to multi-status operations through the glasses; under playback status, Operations like switching songs and adjusting volume can be operated through mobile phones.
  3. Light-Sensor Switch and Power Saving Mode: under playback status, taking off the glasses from your head will trigger light sensor, and music will automatically pause. When the light sensor triggers the music to pause, put on the glasses again within 5 seconds, and the music playback will automatically continue, but after 5 seconds, you need to click the button on either side to continue playing.

Ⅳ. Answer/Make Calls

  • Follow the above instructions to turn on the glasses and pair them to a mobile phone or a desktop.
  • Answer a Call: Single-click the button on either side to pick up an incoming call
  • Reject a Call: press and hold the button on either side for a second and release
  • End a Call: Single-click the button on either side to hang up the call.
  • Redial the Last Number on call records only: press and hold the button of the main connection side with Bluetooth for 1 second.

Ⅴ. Voice Assistant

  • When glasses are connected with Bluetooth, double-clicking the button of the main connection side with Bluetooth to activate the Voice Assistant (also called Voice Recognition)
  • After Voice Assistant is activated, human commands can be used to perform operations of mobile phones with Voice Assistant supported. Please refer to user manual of mobile phones for Voice Assistant operations.

Ⅵ. Charging
Use the magnetic charging cable included and connect the glasses to a standard USB interface on a PC or a standard 5V-1A USB charger. The LED indicator will show solid red when charging and will turn solid blue when charging is completed.
CAUTION: Please fully charge the glasses before the first use. Do not use any fast chargers to charge the glasses.

Ⅶ. Factory Reset

  1. In the OFF status, charge both sides of the glasses
  2. Press and hold the buttons on both sides for 15-20 seconds, do not release the buttons until the red light disappears and lights up again
  3. Unplug the charging cable, the blue light will flash, and then power on the glasses for pairing (Factory reset is generally used when there is an electronic failure of the glasses)

Ⅷ. Storage & Maintenance

  • Store the glasses in a cool and dry place. The working temperature should be -10~ +50°C.Using the glasses in a too cold/hot environment or highly humid area will shorten the battery life.
  • Never leave the glasses in your car on a hot day.
  • Recharge the glasses after you leave them unused for a long period.
  • Clean the glasses with a soft cloth.
  • Do not bring the glasses into contact with sharp objects.

Notes:

  1. It is not recommended to wear glasses to shower or swim to prevent the glasses from malfunctioning in unexpected situations.
  2. The sensitivity of the light sensor may weaken or even fail over long-time use, but it does not affect the basic functions of the product.

Troubleshooting

You may come across some unexpected problems during the use of this product. Some problems can be solved quickly by yourself while the others maybe not when you follow the instructions below.
Please consult the after-sales team of the manufacturer who will provide you with recommendations and solutions for these problems.
Q1: Does not turn on

  • Make sure the battery (both side frames) isn’t dead and press the ON/OFF button to check if there is any voice prompt saying “power on”. If not, please press and hold the ON/OFF button again for 3 secs to check whether there is any voice prompt saying “power off” or not. If neither of the voice prompts, it is concluded that the battery needs to be charged.
  • It is recommended to reset the glasses to factory reset if it still cannot be turned on after being fully charged. Please follow the previous steps for factory reset.
  • If the problem still exists after a factory reset, we assume it has something to do with the failure of the electric circuit. Please communicate with the after-sales team of the manufacturer to get a solution.

Q2: Unable to pair

  • Make sure the pairing mode is entered while the LED light flashes red and blue alternately and voice-prompted “Pairing”. If you see the intermittent red LED only, it means the glasses is powered on and do not enter the pairing mode. Follow the correct steps of pairing described above.
  • Check If the glasses have already been paired with another device within 10 meters. If yes, the solution is to delete the Bluetooth name “Rocklin” from the menu of the device paired and then follow the pairing steps to pair it with the new device.
  • Try to remove all the Bluetooth names from the menu of your phone and put it back to pairing mode. Follow the correct steps of pairing described above.
  • It is recommended to reset it to factory default if it still cannot get paired. Follow the correct steps of pairing described above.
  • If the problem still exists after a factory reset, we assume it has something to do with the failure of the electric circuit. Please communicate with the after-sales team of the manufacturer to get a solution.

Q3: Does not charge

  • Check whether there is electricity on the power outlet (check whether the socket switch is turned off etc.)
  • Check whether the USB charger charges properly. (Try to charge other devices with this USB charger to make sure the USB charger is in good condition.)
  • Check whether the LED shows solid red. If not, it means charging isn’t effective. LED turns blue when charging is finished.
  • It is recommended to reset it to factory default if it still does not charge.
  • If the problem still exists after a factory reset, we assume it has something to do with the failure of the electric circuit. Please communicate with the after-sales team of the manufacturer to get a solution.

Q4: One side speaker doesn’t work

  • Check whether there is electricity on the power outlet (check whether the socket switch is turned off etc.)
  • Check whether the USB charger charges properly. (Try to charge other devices with this USB charger to make sure the USB charger is in good condition.)
  • It is recommended to reset it to factory default if it still does not work.
