SAFETY CONDITIONS. IMPORTANT NOTES ON OPERATING SAFETY

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FUTURE REFERENCES

  1. Read and follow the operating instructions before using the device according to the guidelines contained in it. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by using the device contrary to its intended use or improper operation.

  2. The appliance is for home use only. Do not use for other purposes not in accordance with its intended purpose.

  3. Be especially careful when using the device when children are in the vicinity. Do not allow children to play with the device and do not let children or people unfamiliar with the device use it.

  4. WARNING: This equipment may be used by children over 8 years of age and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or people with no experience or knowledge of the equipment, if this is done under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety or has been provided to them. instructions on the safe use of the device and are aware of the dangers associated with its use. Children should not play with the equipment. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children, unless they are over 8 years old and these activities are performed under supervision.

  7. Place the device on a cool, stable, even surface, away from heating appliances such as: electric cooker, gas burner, etc.

  8. Do not use the device near flammable materials.

  9. Do not use the device near water, e.g. in a shower, in a bathtub or over a wash basin.

  10. Do not handle the device with wet hands.

  11. Batteries may leak when exhausted or not used for a long time. In order to protect the device and your health, replace it regularly and avoid skin contact with leaking batteries.

  12. Switch the device off whenever you put it down.

  13. Use the device on a stable and flat surface.

  14. Keep the device outside the area of strong electromagnetic fields.

  15. Make sure that the ground on which you use the device is not wet or slippery..

  16. Be careful not to let heavy objects fall on the display and the glass part of the scale.

  17.  If the scale is not going to be used for a long time, remove the battery.

  18. DO NOT hit, shake or drop the scale.

  19. Stand still on the scale throughout the measurement.

  20. Do not use for commercial or medical purposes. 21. It is advisable to brew at the same time every day.

  21. The values given by the weight can be misleading when measured after vigorous exercise, a strict diet or dehydration.

  22. People under the age of 18 and older people may only use the weight measurement option.
    The indication of the measurement options (amount of water, fat or muscle) can be confusing for elderly people over 80 and people who are into bodybuilding.

  23. If your measurements are abnormal, consult your doctor.

  24. The scale will not calculate your body fat unless you are barefoot.

  25. To measure body fat accurately, do not bend your legs at the knees, keep your legs / thighs apart on the measurement plates and stand straight on the scales.

  26. The body fat function is not recommended for pregnant women, people on dialysis with pacemakers and other medical implants, people with fever, swollen legs or other edema.

  27. And also for people who are over-hydrated or dehydrated.

  28. Fat percenage may be slightly higher or lower in people with diabetes and other medical conditions.

  29. Women naturally have about 5% more body fat than men.

CHANGING WEIGHT UNITS You can change the units that the weight is displayed in using the switch found under the scales, next to the battery container or under the cover of the container. Available units: kilograms (kg) and pounds (lb).
BATTERY REPLACEMENT (Fig. B) Before use remove the isolating layer from the battery contact plate. Note the pdarity. 1.0pen the battery cover at the bottom of the scales. Remove the dd battery. 2.Insert the new battery by sliding one end of the battery into the contact plate and pressing the other side in. Close the cover.
WEIGHING STEP 1. Place the scales on a hard and flat surface (avoid carpets and soft surfaces).
STEP 2. Gently step on the scales. Stand on the scales evenly distributing your weight and do not move until your weight reading shown on the display stops changing and gets blocked.
SETTING MEASUREMENT PARAMETERS (Fig. C) STEP 1. Place the scales on a hard and fiat surface (avoid carpets and soft surfaces). STEP 2. Press the SET button. An option to set the user code will appear. STEP 3. Use the A and V buttons to choose a user code (1). STEP 4. Press SET to confirm. Repeat steps 3 to 4 to set the age (2), gender (3), and height (4). After approximately 7 seconds from the last press of the SET button the scales will switch to the weighing and measuring mode.
WEIGHING WITH MEASUREMENT (Fig. D)

STEP 1. Press the SET button. The last user’s parameters will appear. If you want to change the user or parameters use the ▲ and ▼ buttons.
STEP 2. Gently step on the scales with bare feet. Both feet should touch the measurement plates. Stand on the scales evenly distributing your weight and do not move until your weight reading shown on the display stops changing (3) and the measurement sign: oooo appears.
Next a sequence of fat, water, bone, muscle, calorie and BMI index measurements results will appear. They will be repeated three times.

AUTOMATIC OFF FUNCTION

When you step off the scales, the device will automatically switch off. The scales automatically switch off when the display shows ‘0.0’
or the same weight reading for approximately 8 seconds.

CLEANINGAND MAINTENANCE

1.Clean the scales with a damp cloth. Wipe dry.
DO NOT use chemicaVcaustic cleaning agents. 2.Sb:3m the scales in a cool and dry place. 3.The scales should always be in a hoiizontal position.

To protect your environment: please separate carton boxes and plastic bags and dispose them in corresponding waste bins. Used appliance should be delivered to the dedicated collecting points due to hazarsous components, which may effect the environment. Do not dispose this appliance in the common waste bin.
