  • Protect this device from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  • Do not remove the cover under any conditions. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Never operate this device when its cover is removed.
  • Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.

  • All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.

Batteries

WARNING Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep batteries away from children.

  • Open the battery compartment and insert the batteries according to the correct polarity.
  • Replace the batteries as soon as the display turns dark.
  • Remove the batteries after use.

Operation

General Operation
  1. Place the scale on a solid, level and non-slippery surface.
  2. Adjust the feet to make sure the scale is level.
  3. Switch on the scale. The scale is ready-to-use when the display shows 0.
  4. Place the item to be weighed or the tare item in the middle of the weighing platform.
  5. To tare an item, tap the tare button. Place the item to be weighed on the scale.
  6. The weight is displayed.
Unit Conversion

Press the unit button until the desired weighing unit is displayed.

Piece Counting
  1. Hold the piece-counting button pressed.
  2. Press the unit button until the display shows the sample amount (25, 50, 60, 75 or 100). Place the same amount of items in the middle of the weighing platform. Press the piece-counting button to confirm.
  3. To count the amount of pieces, press the piece-counting button, place the items in the middle of the weighing platform and read the results from the display.
Error Indications

Overloaded. Remove excess weight.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.
  • Do not immerse the device in any liquid.
