Product Description

This product is an air quality monitor to measure carbon dioxide (CO2), temperature, and air humidity.

Precautions

  • Do not cover the vents on the side and back of the product. It will result in inaccurate measurements.
  • Do not use cleaning detergents on the monitor.
  • Do not use water or other liquids near the monitor.
  • Do not open or modify the monitor.

  1. Temperature indication in Celsius
  2. Relative humidity in %
  3. Carbon dioxide (CO2) in PPM

Trend visualization

When you press the switch screen button, you can see the trend display where you can see the CO2 values for the past 8 hours.

Color Indication for CO2 levels
The CO2 values on the display will change in color depending on the carbon dioxide concentrations.

CO2 Air Quality

Air Quality| CO2 PPM| Color
Good| 0-999| Green
Moderate| 1000-1499| Yellow
Bad| 1500-2499| Red
Severe| >2500| Purple

Charging
During charging, the temperature sensor can be influenced. We recommend leaving the device plugged in for more accurate temperature measurements. Use the included charger to charge the device. The standby time is 6 hours. Charging takes 2 hours.

Calibration
Rough handling, transportation, and aging can have an impact on the sensor’s accuracy.
The sensor is equipped with a self-calibrating algorithm called ‘automatic baseline correction’. This algorithm will auto-calibrate to the lowest CO2 readings it sees in a time span of several weeks. By placing the monitor outside, the sensor will sense this and recalibrate over time.
The device has been calibrated in the factory but because of transportation and different air pressure, we recommend placing the product outside for 10 minutes after you have received it. This will auto-calibrate the sensor.
Normal outdoor CO2 readings are around 410PPM.
