GETTING STARTED/FIRST TIME USE

****Pull battery insulator/ Insert battery into battery compartment to activate the pedometer.

If LCD is showing abnormal characters or the screen freezes and/or step digits not counting, please perform a ‘SYSTEM RESET’,
SEE SECTION: PERFORMINGASYSTEM RESET
The LCD may show faint background digits. This is normal because of fresh battery. This will disappeared when the battery drops to its normal operating voltage.

STEP COUNT FUNCTION

The 3D sensor Accelerometer counts steps when worn in any position, including inside your shirt pocket. The step counter will begin once motion is detected.

10 STEPS ERROR CORRECTION

To eliminate accidental movements as steps, this pedometer will start counting steps after ten steps are detected.

IMPROPER STEP COUNTING

The pedometer may not count steps correctly in the following conditions:
– Irregular motion such as swinging and vibrating

CHANGING THE BATTERY

The pedometer uses 1 piece of CR—2032 button cell battery.

  1. Twist and unscrew the battery door using a coin.
  2. Take out the old button cell battery.
  3.  Replace with fresh battery. Make sure the battery is inserted in its correct polarity position.
  4. Screw the battery door back into place.

PERFORMING A SYSTEM RESET

Perform a SYSTEM RESET action in the following situations:
PERFORMING A SYSTEM RESET
– When battery is being replaced (if required).
– When the LCD digits become unrecognizable or dim.
– When pressing the key has no action.
Remove the battery from the unit.
This will reset the pedometer back to its default setting.
The LCD display will clear the current data and reset it to “0”
