SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The appliance is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not suitable for commercial use.

  2. Do not use the appliance outdoors.

  3. Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.

  4. Always plug the appliance into an outlet that is earthed. Risk of electric shock!

  5. Appliance is not intended to operate with an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

  6. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges.

  7. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas, electric burner or preheated oven.

  8. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is wet, unplug it immediately.

  9. When storing the device, switch the appliance off and always pull the plug out of the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead).

  10. Do not pull or stretch the power cable.

  11. Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always unplug the appliance.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Read all the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.

  2. Remove the appliance from its packaging. Keep away from children.

  3. Inspect the appliance after unpacking for any visual damage. In case of any damage, do not use
    the appliance and contact the shop that you bought it.

  4. Before using the appliance for the first time, check that the voltage shown on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.

  5. Make sure that the appliance only plugs into a properly grounded and properly installed socket.

  6. Place the appliance on an even surface at a safe distance away from flammable objects. Keep out of the reach of children.

  7. Wipe the plates with a soft damp cloth and then dry them with one dry cloth or kitchen paper.
    CAUTION: Do not immerse the appliance or pour water directly into the hob.

  8. Do not immerse the appliance and do not run water directly on the plates.

  9. Preheat the appliance for some minutes.

  10. Unplug the appliance.
    NOTICE: When the waffle maker is used for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor.
    This is normal for almost all heating appliances and it does not affect the safety of your appliance

HOW TO USE

  1. Close the waffle maker and plug it into the wall outlet. You will notice that the power indicator light (red color) and ready-to-cook indicator light (green color) will turn on, indicating that the waffle maker has begun preheating.

  2. When the appropriate temperature is reached, the ready-to-cook indicator light (green) will turn off.

  3. Adjust the cooking temperature by turning the rotary temperature control switch according to your preferences. For the first preparations it is recommended to set it in the middle. The higher the temperature, the more the waffle turns brown and becomes crispier.

  4. Open the waffle maker using the handle and pour the mixture into the bottom baking tray. Fill all the holes in the plate with the mixture.
    NOTE: Place the mixture gently to all holes of the bottom baking tray in order mixture not overflows.

  5. Gently close the lid, taking care that mixture will not overflow. The ready-to-cook indicator light will come on again.\

  6. Let the mixture be cooked for 6-10 minutes or until golden brown. Baking time depends on your preferences.

  7. When finished cooking, use the heat resistant handle to open the top cover. Remove the waffle with the help of a plastic spatula. Never use metal tongs or a knife as these can cause damage to the non-stick coating of the cooking plates.

  8. Unplug the appliance and leave it open to cool.
    TIP: Spread a little cooking oil on the baking trays before placing the mixture to make it easier for you to remove the waffle from the plate after the baking is completed.

WAFFLES RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
2 eggs
300g flour
½ bag of baking powder
80g melted butter
1 vanilla powder
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 pinch of salt
2 cups of tea (400 ml) fresh milk (lukewarm)

WAFFLE MIXTURE PREPARATION

  1. Put the eggs in a large bowl and beat well with an egg beater until looks fluffy. Add the flour, baking powder, melted butter, vanilla powder, sugar and salt and mix well. Gradually add the lukewarm milk, without stopping the beating, until a completely homogeneous and thick mixture is created.

  2. Grease the waffle maker and pour the mixture into the slots of the waffle baking plate and let
    the waffle bake following the manufacturer’s instructions.

  3. For more pleasure, accompany the waffle with ice cream and chocolate/ caramel syrup, jam or sugar.

CLEANING AND CARE

  1. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning. The unit is easier to clean when slightly warm. There is no need to disassemble the appliance before cleaning.
  2. Never immerse the appliance into water or place in dishwasher.
  3. Wipe cooking plates with a soft to remove food residue. To remove persistent dry food residues, moisten it with a little warm water to soften it and then try to remove it with a cloth or kitchen  paper. Then clean with a dry cloth or paper.
  4. Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth only. Do not clean the outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finishing.
  5. Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the appliance. Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for cleaning.

STORAGE

  1. Always unplug the appliance before storing it.
  2. Always make sure that the appliance is cold, dry and clean before storing.
  3. Always store the appliance out of the reach of children.
  4. Always store the appliance in a safe and clean place. For the better protection of the appliance, store it in its original packaging.
  5. The appliance can be stored in a vertical position for easier storage.
