- Second set the remote control to enter the pairing mode, Let them connect successfully
The Basics
How to Pair Your Remote and GoPro
Find your camera model number
B-1:For GoPro HERO3/HERO3+Camera set up
- Press power
- Press Camera wifi Botton
- Display “Wi-Fi RC” →confirm
- Select “Wi-Fi RC”→confirm
- Wi-Fi RC→Select “NEW”→confirm
- PAIRING (Wait for the remote control to pair)
B-2:For GoPro HERO 4 Camera set up
- Press power
- Select “SETUP” →to confirm
- WIRELESS→Select “OFF”→to confirm
- WIRELESS→Select “PAIR”→confirm
- PAIR→Select “WI-FI RC”→confirm
- PAIRING(Wait for the remote control to pair)
B-3:For GoPro HERO 5 Camera set up
- Press and hold the mode key (turn the camera on)
- Use your finger from top to bottom touch screen
- Select “CONNECT”→Click on
- Select “Connect New Device”→Click on
- Select “Smart Remote”→Click on
- PAIRING (Wait for the remote control to pair)

- Press power
- Select “SETUP” →to confirm
- Wireless→Select “wifi OFF”→confirm
- Wi-Fi Mode→Select “REM CTRL”→confirm
- REM CTRL→Select “NEW”→confirm
- Pairing (Wait for the remote control to pair)
B-5:For GoPro HERO 4session Camera set up
- Press the WiFi button (turn the camera on)
- Press again wifi button→appear SELECT CONTROL
- Select “ADD NEW”→confirm
- NEW DEVICE→Select “RC”→confirm
- PAIRING (Wait for the remote control to pair)
B-6:For GoPro HERO 5session Camera set up
- Press the WiFi button (turn the camera on)
- Select “CONNECTION SETTINGS”→to confirm
- Select “CONNECT NEW DEVICE”→confirm
- NEW DEVICE→Select“GOPRO RC”→confirm
- PAIRING (Wait for the remote control to pair)
SET UP THE REMOTE
- Make sure the remote is off
- While holding the red circle key (Do not let go)
- The press the power button and release the power button
- The remote control enters the pairing mode
- appear Pairing of double arrows , then release button
- If the connection is successful, you will see the following screen on the Remote control
- Then will be asked if you want to connect to more cameras. Press yes, and then repeat the first step above. Otherwise, select No
- Press the circle key to confirm
- camera and remote control are connected successfully
