Tips: When the distance between the headphone and the device is beyond effective range, headphones disconnect pacts with the device. The headphone will power off automatically once not active for 10 minutes.
Pairing
Pair One Device
Note: When the headphones and device have been paired once, they will
automatically connect when the headphones is on and Bluetooth is activated on
the device.
- Make sure that the headphones are turned off and are within 1 meter of your device, then press and hold the Multifunction button until the LED indicator flashes red and white alternately (about 5 seconds) then release the Multifunction button.
- Activate Bluetooth on your device.
- On your device, open Settings.
- Select Bluetooth. If Bluetooth is off, turn it on. The device will search for new devices automatically.
- Select “KOSS BT740iQZ” from the device menu.
Pair Another Device
Multipoint technology enables you to pair another device and take a call from
either.
To pair a second device, follow the “Pair one device” instructions again. When
the headphones are restarted, they will pair with both devices.
Call switching When the first phone receives a call, press the Multifunction
button once to answer it. If the second device receives a call, you can answer
the second call by double-clicking the Multifunction button, which places the
first call on hold.
Call
Answer a call: Press the Multifunction button once.
Reject a call: Press and hold the Multifunction button for 2 seconds.
End a call: Press the Multifunction button once.
End the current call and answer the new call
When a new call rings during a call, press the Multifunction button once to
answer the new call and end the current call simultaneously.
Place the current call on hold and answer the new call
When a new call rings during a call, double press the Multifunction button to
answer the new call and place the current call on hold.
Reject the new call on hold the current call
If a new call comes in during an active call, long press the Multifunction
button for 2 seconds to reject the new call and keep the active call.
Switch between the headphones and the device
Press the Multifunction button for about 2 seconds during a call to switch to
the mobile phone. Redo this operation to switch back to the headphones.
Calling with a voice assistant (Device support needed)
In standby mode, double press the Multifunction button, wait for the device
prompt, and tell the device to dial the name of a stored contact.
Music
Music Play/Pause
Press the Multifunction button once to play/pause music. (Some devices may
require you to start a media player first.)
Next Track/Previous Track
Long press the Volume + for 2 seconds once to skip Next Track, Long press
Volume – for 2 seconds once to skip Previous Track.
Volume Up/VolumeDown
Short press the Volume + to incrementally increase the volume. Short press the
Volume – to incrementally decrease the volume.
Note: A media player is needed to support this functionality.
Basic Operation
Charging
It takes 2.5 hours to fully charge headphones. The red indicator light is
always on during charging; The red light will go out immediately after
unplugging the charging cable; When fully charged, the red light goes out and
the white light stays on.
Note: The lifetime of the battery will be significantly reduced if your
headphones are left uncharged for a long period of time. We recommend that you
recharge your headphone at least once a month.
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)
When powered on and/ or connected to the device via an audio cable
ANC LOW: Long press the ANC button for 2 seconds
ANC HIGH: Longpress ANC button again for 2 seconds
ANC OFF: Long press the ANC button again for 2 seconds.
Ambient Sound When ANC is ON
AMBIENT SOUND ON: Short press the ANC button AMBIENT SOUND OFF: Short
press the ANC button again
