Assembly
Attaching the flexible pipe
Place the hose clamp (C) on the flexible pipe before connecting the
flexible pipe with the outlet pipe of the ventilator. The flexible pipe (B)
and outlet pipe (A) of the ventilator (fig. 1) need to be connected with a
hose clamp (C) and tightened (fig. 2).
Connecting the operating pipe
Note: Keep the accelerator as straight as possible when connecting the blowpipes.
- Place the device on an even surface while mounting it. Ensure that the screwing mechanism of the clamp is positioned away from the operator.
- Place the hose clamp (G) onto the flexible pipe and operating pipe.
- Turn the marking on the rotating ring (D) so that it matches the throttle lever (F). Place the operating pipe (E) into the flexible pipe (B) (fig.
- then tighten it with a hose clamp (G) (fig. 4).
- Attach the clips of the throttle valve connection (see 1, fig.5/6) to both ends of the flexible pipe to secure the throttle valve cable.
Attaching the connection pipe and the concentrator nozzle
Connect the connection pipe (H) with the air nozzle (I). Push the pipes
together and turn them clockwise so that they connect (fig. 7). Attach the
pipes via the M5 screws included in the delivery.
Adjusting the back part, tension belt, and control
handle
- Place the blower on your back by putting your arms through the shoulder straps, as if putting a jacket on.
- As soon as the adjustments to the tension belt have been made for user comfort, take the leaf
- blower off your back and place it in an upright position on an even surface.
- Adjust the back part and control handle.
Fuel and oil
Fuel
Use unleaded petrol with normal quality mixed with special 2-stroke motor oil
for best results. Use the mixing ratio stated in the section fuel mixing table
further below. Warning: Never only use petrol for the device. This will
lead to permanent motor damages and void the manufacturer’s warranty for this
product. Never use a fuel mix, which has been stored for longer than 90 days.
Warning: Only use top-quality 2-stroke lubricant/oil for air-cooled
2-stroke motors mixed with a 1:30 ratio. Do not use a 2-cycle oil product with
a recommended mixing ratio of 1:100. If insufficient lubrication is a reason
for motor damage, it will void the warranty of the manufacturer.
Mixing the fuel
First, fill oil into an approved fuel container, then petrol, to allow the
petrol to mix with the oil. Shake the container to mix the two liquids
thoroughly.

Starting and stopping the motor
Starting a cold motor
- Ensure that the ignition switch (B) is not in the stop position (fig. 9).
- Operate the primer pump 10 times by pressing the primer (D) (fig. 10).
- Your device is equipped with a 2-position throttle: full choke “close” (pos. 1) and “run” (Pos. 2). Put the choke lever into the full choke “close” position (fig. 11).
- Place the device on the ground and hold the upper support handle.
- Pull the starter rope 4–6 times. If the device does not start, put the choke lever into the center position and pull it another 4–6 times. Wait for 10 s after the device has started and place the choke lever into the 2 nd position.
- Push the B button and operate the accelerator to start.
Note: If the motor does not start after several tries, read the section
“troubleshooting.”
Note: Always pull the starter rope straight ahead. If one pulls the
starter lopsided, the rope rubs against the eyelet. This will lead to the rope
fraying sooner and thus wearing. Always hold the starter handle when the rope
is pulling back. Never let the rope rebound without control. This can lead to
the rope getting caught or fraying and damaging the starter mounting.
Important idle-speed information
In some cases, it might be necessary to alter the idle speed slightly, due to
operating conditions (height, temperature, etc.). Should the device not run
with idle speed after the warming phase and after starting the device twice,
carry out the following steps to adjust the idle speed:
- Find the idle speed adjustment screw (G) on the carburetor (fig. 15).
- Use a cross-head screwdriver to turn the screw ¼–½ clockwise (right-hand direction). The device should now be properly at an idle speed.
Stopping the motor
Emergency stop
If it is necessary to stop the device immediately, switch the on/off switch
into the stop position.
To stop the motor normally, release the trigger and let the motor return to
idle speed. Then stop the machine.
Starting a warm motor
Caution: This method is only applicable with the motor not stopped for
more than 15–20 min.
- Adjust the accelerator lock (see step 2 of the “starting a cold motor” section), and swiftly pull the starter rope.
- If the motor does not start or starts after 5 pulls of the starter rope and then stops, follow the instructions stated in “starting a cold motor.”
Operating instructions
-
The blower can be used in different spots: to free trees, bushes, hedges, flower beds, and areas that are hard to clean, around buildings, walls, overhangs, fences, and screens.
-
We recommend wearing a mask when operating the device in dusty areas.
-
Keep a distance to the material to be blown that allows to easily control its direction of movement. Never blow foreign bodies into the direction of bystanders, animals,
or foreign property (such as cars). -
To steer the speed of the airflow, the device can be regulated to any speed from idle speed to full speed. Experience with the device and visual judgment will allow you to determine the required amount of air for the individual task.
-
To reduce the sound level, limit the number of devices used at the same time.
-
Check the equipment before use, especially the exhaust, the air inlets, and the air filter.
-
Use a rake or broom to loosen dirt before starting the blowing process. In dusty environments, slightly dampen the surface.
-
Save water by using the leaf blower instead of hoses for various lawn and garden applications. These include areas such as gutters, view screens, patios, barbecues, porches, and gardens.
-
Use the connection pipe with a nozzle so that the airflow can work close to the ground.
-
Tidy the work area after using the leaf blower and other equipment. Put all garden debris into appropriate rubbish bins, and do not dispose of them in the wild.
Warning:
- Always wear an authorized, shielded pair of safety glasses or facial protection during operation due to flying debris.
- Do not use the leaf blower if other people or animals are nearby. Keep a safe distance of at least 15 meters to them.
- Before taking the leaf blower into operation, read the safety notes in the operating manual and all regulations for the operation of the device thoroughly. These safety precautions and regulations are for your own protection, for the protection of others, of animals, and of foreign property.
Operation
- Follow the instructions regarding “starting a cold motor.”
- As soon as the device is running, place it on your back by putting your arms through the shoulder straps, as if you would putting a jacket on.
- When preparing to clean an area of debris, always position yourself so that you can influence the direction in which the debris is blown.
- The control lever and flexible pipe allow you to clear even areas that are hard to reach.
- The handle, throttle, cut-off, and on/off switch for the ignition (B) are all mounted in a rotary handle which offers a variety of operating positions and comfort.
