Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage to the appliance:

GENERAL NOTES

  1. The appliance is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.

  2. Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.

  3. Always plug the device into an outlet that is earthed. Risk of electric shock!

  4. Do not place the appliance in front of or below the power outlet.

  5. Do not use an extension cable or multi-strips to connect the appliance.

  6. The appliance is not intended to operate with an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

  7. Do not use the device outdoors.

  8. Do not use the appliance in the bathroom, swimming pool or in rooms with high humidity level.

  9. Keep a safe distance (at least lm) from flammable objects such as furniture, curtains, paper, etc.

  10. Never use the appliance in rooms with explosive gas (e.g. gasoline), while working with flammable materials, if there is a leak of gas or other flammable material such as varnish or glue.

  11. When using the appliance keep a sufficient distance (at least 50cm) from the window or wall.

  12. Do not place or hang the following, similar or other flammable materials such as paper, plastic, etc., on, in front of or inside the appliance.

  13. Do not place the appliance in or under shelves, cabinets or similar places.

  14. ATTENTION: Please do not cover the appliance with any object. Risk of fire!

  15. ATTENTION: Do not cover or block the heat outputs or air intakes of the appliance.

  16. Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.

  17. Do not let the power cord hanging off the edge of a table or bench, or come into contact with sharp edges and hot surfaces.

  18. ATTENTION: Do not place the appliance on carpets.

  19. ATTENTION: Do not place the power cable under carpets.

  20. ATTENTION: The protective grills are to prevent direct access to heating parts when the appliance is in use. Do not place objects inside the appliance. Danger of electric shock!

  21. Keep a distance of at least lm around all sides of the appliance in order to allow sufficient air circulation during appliance operation.

  22. Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always unplug the appliance.

  23. Always remove the plug from the socket after usage (pull the plug itself, not the lead).

  24. Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down when you want to move it to another location.

  25.  When cleaning or storing the appliance, switch it off and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug, not the cable).

  26. Always switch off and unplug the appliance when inserting/ removing accessories.

  27. Regularly check the appliance and cable for signs of damage. Do not continue to operate the appliance in case of damage.

  28.  WARNING: Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord. In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the appliance by yourself. Bring it to the authorized service station for repair. Use only the original spare parts.

  29. If the surface is cracked, disconnect the appliance from the power supply to avoid electric shock.

  30. ATTENTION: The appliance is not intended for use by children, disabled people or people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities.

  31. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children and pets.

  32. Do not let children play with the appliance.

  33. In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
    WARNING: Do not allow small children to play with the foil. Danger of suffocation!

  34. Children are not allowed to use the appliance.

  35. Do not use the appliance in rooms less than 4 sq.m.

  36. Never immerse the appliance into water during cleaning. Check “CLEANING” paragraph for cleaning instructions.

  37. Never immerse the appliance into water or any other liquid.

  38. To protect again electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or unit in water or any other liquid.

  39. Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.

IMPORTANT SECURITY WARNING

This is an additional heating device. Never leave the device unattended for several hours. Do not leave the house without turning off the heater.

RISK OF BURNS: The air has a temperature higher than 80°C! Please do not allow children to play unattended near the device.

FIRST USE OF HEATER

  1. Plug the appliance in a properly installed and grounded outlet.
  2. Rotate the rotary function switch to select the high power mode (position II -2000W).
  3. Select the MAX temperature level from the thermostat.
  4. Operate the appliance for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Rotate rotary function switch to select the “O” position in order to switch off the appliance.

NOTE: During initial use and due to insulating materials on the fins, odor and/ or smoke may be caused. This is not a malfunctioning of the heater and stops after the initial heating of the heating tubes.

ATTENTION: In case of any damage, please switch the heater off immediately and disconnect the plug from the socket outlet. In the event of cable’s damage, please visit a qualified technician for repair or replacement.

USING THE APPLIANCE

HEATING COMBINATIONS:

Fan heater has 2 heating combinations. Turn on the appliance by rotating the rotary function switch and selecting one of the following power modes:

  • Low power operation (a position I – l000W)
  • High power operation (position II – 2000W)

Turn off the fan heater by turning the thermostat to the MIN position and the rotary function switch to the “0” position.

THERMOSTAT :

Adjust the room temperature by rotating the thermostat and selecting the temperature level from MIN to MAX. The thermostat maintains the room temperature by activating or deactivating the appliance.

COLD AIR OPERATION:

In order to use the appliance as ventilator please move the rotary function switch to the symbol and turn the thermostat to the highest position.

CLEANING

  1. Always make sure that the appliance is unplugged before cleaning it.
  2. Do not pour water on or inside the fan heater.
  3. Clean the appliance housing and control panel with a soft damp cloth.
  4. Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the appliance. Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for cleaning.

STORAGE

  1. Always unplug the appliance before storing it.
  2. Always make sure that the appliance is cold, dry and clean before storing.
  3. Always store the appliance out of the reach of children.
  4. Always store the appliance in a safe and clean place. For the better protection of the appliance, store it in its original packaging.
