SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The appliance is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not suitable for commercial use.

  2. Do not use the appliance outdoors.

  3. Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.

  4. Always plug the appliance into an outlet that is earthed. Risk of electric shock!

  5. Appliance is not intended to operate with an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

  6. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges.

  7. Keep a sufficient distance from the outside of the appliance during use. Never use the appliance near curtains, flammable materials and do not place it in cabinets.

  8. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas, electric burner or preheated Oven.

  9. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is wet, unplug it immediately.

  10. When storing the appliance, switch the appliance off and always pull the plug out of the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead).

  11. Do not pull or stretch the power cable.

  12. Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always unplug the appliance.

  13. Always unplug the appliance after usage (pull the plug itself, not the lead).

  14. Periodically check the cable for damage.
    WARNING: Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord. In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the appliance by yourself. Bring it to the authorized service station for repair. Use only the original spare parts.

  15. Do not let the power cord hanging off the edge of a table or bench, or come into contact with hot surfaces.

  16. If the surface is cracked, disconnect the appliance from the power supply to avoid electric shock.

  17. Do not touch the hot plate while operating.

  18. Do not move the appliance when in use.

  19. Do not cover the appliance when in use.

  20. To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or unit in water or any other liquid

  21. CAUTION: The appliance is not intended for use by children, disabled people or people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities. Supervision is necessary when you use the appliance by or near children

  22. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children.

  23. Do not let children play with the appliance.

  24. In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
    WARNING : Do not allow children to play with the foil. Danger of suffocation!

  25. Children are not allowed to use the appliance.

  26. Unplug when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off accessories, and before cleaning the appliance.

  27. Never use metal tongs or a knife as these can cause damage to the non stick coating of the cook plate.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Read all the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.

  2. Remove the appliance from its packaging. Keep away from children.

  3. Inspect the appliance after unpacking for any visual damage. In case of any damage, do not use the appliance and contact the shop that you bought it.

  4. Before using the appliance for the first time, check that the voltage shown on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.

  5. Make sure that the appliance only plugs into a properly grounded and properly installed socket.

  6. Place the appliance on an even surface at a safe distance away from flammable objects. Keep out of the reach of children.

  7. Wipe the baking plate with a soft damp cloth and then dry them with one dry cloth or kitchen paper.
    CAUTION: Do not immerse the appliance or pour water directly into the baking plate.

  8. Select the maximum temperature (“MAX”) by turning the adjustable thermostat clockwise.

  9. Allow the crepe maker to work without materials fora few minutes.

  10. Unplug the appliance.
    NOTICE : When the crepe maker is used for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal for almost all heating appliances and it does not affect the safety of your appliance.

HOW TO USE

  1. Place the appliance on an even surface at a safe distance away from flammable objects. Keep out of the reach of children.

  2. Connect the crepe maker to the power supply and adjust the baking temperature by turning the adjustable thermostat clockwise according to your preferences.

  3. The power indicator light (red color) and the ready-to-cook indicator light (blue color) will turn on indicating that the crepe maker has begun preheating.

  4. When the appropriate temperature is reached, the ready-to-cook indicator light (blue color) will turn off.

  5. Spread a small amount of cooking oil or butter onto the baking plate.

  6. Using a ladle, pour the dough mix onto the baking plate and spread the mixture quickly with circular motions (from the center to the outside) until the desired crepe diameter is achieved using the T-Shape spreader tool.

  7. Allow the crepe to be baked until it is dry. When small holes appear on the surface of the crepe, then it can be moved slightly on the non-stick baking plate.

  8. Place the spatula under the crepe and turn it over carefully so that it is well baked on the other side as well. Baking time depends on your preferences.

  9. When the crepe is ready, remove it with the spatula. Never use metal tongs or a knife as these can cause damage to the non-stick coating of the cooking plates.Repeat the same process if you want to continue making extra crepes.
    Tip: Place non-stick paper between the crepes you prepare so that they do not stick together and
    keep them warm in a preheated oven.

  10. When you have finished cooking ,turn the rotary switch counterclockwise to the “OFF” position  unplug the appliance and allow the appliance to cool down.

CREPA RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • egg
  • cup of milk
  • Half cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Half teaspoon soda
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • teaspoon sugar
  • tablespoons oil
  • 1 can of vanilla powder

CREPE MIXTURE PREPARATION

  • Pour all the ingredients except the flour into a large bowl and mix well with an egg beater. Slowly add the flour without stopping the beating, until a completely homogeneous mixture is created.
  • Pour the mixture into the crepe maker and let the crepe be cooked according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • For more enjoyment, accompany the crepe with chocolate hazelnut praline, bananas or grated cookies.

CLEANING AND CARE

  1. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning. The unit is easier to clean when slightly warm. There is no need to disassemble the appliance before cleaning.
  2. Never immerse the appliance into water or place in dishwasher.
  3. Wipe cooking plate with a soft to remove food residue. To remove persistent dry food residues, moisten it with a little warm water to soften it and then try to remove it with a cloth or kitchen paper. Then clean with a dry cloth or paper.
  4. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth only. Do not clean the outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finishing.
  5. Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the appliance. Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for cleaning.

STORAGE

  1. Always unplug the appliance before storing it.
  2. Always make sure that the appliance is cold, dry and clean before storing.
  3. Always store the appliance out of the reach of children.
  4. Always store the appliance in a safe and clean place. For the better protection of the appliance, store it in its original packaging.
