Introduction

The weather radio gives you tools for both emergency and non-emergency situations. The radio contains a reading lamp and motion sensor, as well as 3 LED flashlights with zoom, an SOS alarm, 4000mAh rechargeable batteries, radio broadcasts access (AM/FM/WB), and 4 power options for emergency power. The National Weather Service has validated our NOAA Weather Radio. To listen to your local weather station, select WB band and one of the seven preset weather bands. The radio will automatically produce a loud SOS alarm that lasts for 9 seconds when the National Weather Service issues a severe weather alert, while the red light flashes. Even when you’re sleeping, you’ll never forget it.

Tornadoes, tsunamis, wildfires, hurricanes, and snowstorms are all covered in this emergency kit. AM Radio (520-1710 Khz); FM Band (87-108MHz); SW Radio are all simple to tune into (7-19.00 MHZ). The crank radio has a wide range of entertainment, sports, news, and international broadcasts such as The BBC/Moscow/Beijing. It’s a portable radio with excellent reception thanks to the telescopic antenna. The large volume knob makes volume adjustments simple, and the 3.5mm headphone port allows you to listen to radio shows quietly.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It states All Hazards, so does that include earthquakes, asteroids, and solar flares?
Yes, When the National Weather Service issues a severe weather alert, the radio will auto make an SOS alarm sound that lasts for 9 seconds. We provide you an 18-month warranty, a 12-month replacement, and a 3-month refund. We hope you can buy with confidence.

  • Can I replace the 5000mAh rechargeable li-ion battery of the am radio?
Yes, the built-in li-ion battery is replaceable, but usually, it can last several years, so you don’t need to replace it frequently.

  • What is the quality of the shortwave radio?
The radio is smaller than the advertising photo will show which is not a big deal but it is pleasantly compact. Quality seems to be quite good as far as construction and materials are. Durability and survivability (weather, bad conditions, being dropped) have not been tested.

  • Is it waterproof?
It is not a waterproof radio.

  • Does it have an external antenna connector?
This weather radio has an extended antenna to ensure the best signals. We provide you with an 18-month warranty, a 12-month replacement, and a 3-month refund. We hope you can buy with confidence.

  • Where is the outlet to attach for a/c power?
It is on the end of the radio, under a rubber door. The door is located beside the 3 buttons for the flashlight, reading light, and alarm. The wire included with the radio can be plugged in here and then plugged into a converter (not included) that plugs into the wall outlet. There is a light on the lower front of the radio that indicates charging (red) and charged (green).

  • Does the charging light actually turn green when it’s fully charged? I’ve changed mine for over 8 hours already and the light is still red.
Yes, it will show percentages 0f 25-50-75_100. The light blinks for each one and stops blinking when fully charged, showing all lights are up. Stop charging.

  • The alarm sounds just touching the tuning knob or changing the band dial. It’s very loud. Can I disable the alarm?
Generally, the alarm will not go off if you only change the band dial or switch knob. When the National Weather Service issues a severe weather alert, the radio will auto make an SOS alarm sound that lasts for 9 seconds, meanwhile, the red light flashes, and then the radio will continue to play the weather information. So you should check if there is weather alert. We provide you an 18-month warranty, a 12-month replacement, 3-month refund. We hope you can buy with confidence.

  • Can this weather radio work as a clock?
yes, our radio is compatible with the clock function. But the part is relatively small on the screen as an extra function. It is not ideal for home but for the outdoors.

  • Does this radio have an earphone jack?
Our radio has upgraded and added an earphone jack.

  • Will this radio receive two (5mhz, 10mhz, and 15mz)?
It has an SW band scale that goes from 2.3 to 22 MHz. Having said that, I have to tell you, I am really disappointed with this radio. Maybe I have a defective one but it can barely pick up nearby AM radio stations. The tuning is very, very difficult because a small adjustment to the dial makes a big change in frequency and the sound quality is awful. The price is great. The rest of it, not so much. You get what you pay for.
