IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTION

WARNING!

MOISTURE AND HUMIDITY

  • The active loudspeaker should be located in a place free from moisture and water.
  • Do not use this apparatus near water. Do not expose it to rain or dripping water. Do not splash water on it.

INSTALLATION

  • Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  • No naked flame sources, such as lit candles, should be placed on the active loudspeaker.
  • Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

CONNECTION

  • Connect the active loudspeaker according to the instructions in the manual.

  • Connect the active loudspeaker only to the correct mains voltage as shown on the equipment.

  • Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit the apparatus.

  • Use only power cables of the type specified in the operating instructions or as marked on the active loudspeaker. Do not substitute the separate power cable included with this active loudspeaker with any other power supply – use only the power cable provided by the manufacturer.

  • Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades one wider than the other. A grounding plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety.
    If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet.

  • Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

  • Do not install in an area that impedes access to the power plug. Disconnecting the power plug is the only way to completely remove power to the product and the plug must be readily accessible at all times.

CLEANING

  • Clean only with a dry cloth.

MAINTENANCE

  • Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
  • CAUTION: These servicing instructions are for use by qualified service personnel only. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not perform any servicing unless you are qualified to do so.

AMPLIFIER FUNCTIONS

FUNCTIONS

  1. USB Port

  2. Mic level: Control the signal for Mic input when using the Mic input.

  3. Inst level: Control the signal for Inst input when using the Inst input.

  4. Line Level: Control the output volume for Line Level Input.

  5. High Boost: High shelf filter to adjust the treble to the room acoustics.

  6. System switch: To select channel stereo and Mono.

  7. Aux/Mp3 level: Control the signal for Aux/Mp3 input when using the Aux/Mp3 input.

  8. Bass: Low shelf filter to adjust the bass to the room acoustics.

  9. Hi-Z: Mono input with 1/4” jack socket for acoustic or electric guitar. Both MP3 and HI-Z inputs can be used simultaneously; the volume ratio must be set on the instrument, or on the player.

  10. Mic/Inst Input: These balanced inputs accept a standard XLR and a 1/4” jack phone plug. A broad range of signals from microphones, audio mixing consoles, and electronic musical instruments may be connected here.

  11. Line Input left: Use XLR and a 1/4” jack connector balanced or unbalance12. Line Input right: Use XLR and a 1/4” jack connector balanced or unbalanced.

  14. Master: Controls the master volume of the unit. By turning the knob counter-clockwise you will be lowering the overall volume of the speaker.
    By turning the control clockwise you will be increasing the overall volume of the speaker.

INSTALLATION

CONNECTIONS

  1. Connect the OUTPUT from your signal source ( mixing console, microphone, preamp, line-level source) directly to the INPUT connector on the back of the speaker. It accepts balanced line level signals from mixers, preamplifiers, etc., and accepts direct connections from dynamic microphones through the MIC input.
  2. There is also an XLR OUTPUT connector «LINE OUT». This allows you to connect more than one KONEX-Multi6 to the output of your source. Simply plug an XLR cable from the LINE OUT connector of one speaker to the INPUT connector of another speaker, and so on, daisy-chaining multiple speakers.
  3. Turn ON your signal source ( Make sure the volume is turned down) Start the signal source and adjust volume controls on the signal source and KONEX-multi6 speaker.

BLUETOOTH PAIRING

  1. Press and release the PAIR button on one speaker only
  2. While the pairing light is flashing, the «K-multi6» name will appear on your pairing device.
  3. Click on the «K-multi6» name on your pairing device to complete the pairing.

  STEREO BLUETOOTH PAIRING

  1. Press and release the PAIR button on one speaker only, this K-multi6 will be the LEFT channel of your sound system.
  2. While the pairing light is flashing, the «K-multi6» name will appear on your pairing device.
  3. Click on the «K-multi6» name on your pairing device to complete the pairing.
  4. Press a release STEREO LINK button on each speaker. (the speakers you are trying to pair must be the same speaker: K-multi6). The second K-multi6 speaker will be automatically set up as the RIGHT channel speaker.

To exit this connection, press and hold the STEREO LINK button for 3 seconds.

Note :
Led flashing means «Pairing» or «linking»
Led solid light means «Paired» or «linked»

To RESET the pairing and linking, press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
