  4. Extract the suction hose with a filter (23) or separate it from the detergent.

  5. Apply high-pressure spray to a small area and check the surface for damage. If no damage is found, you can assume it is okay to continue cleaning.

  6. Start at top of the area to be rinsed, working down with the same overlapping strokes as you used for cleaning.

Cleaning Detergent Siphoning Tube
If you used the detergent siphoning tube, you must flush it with clean water before stopping the engine.

  1. Place detergent siphoning tube/filter in a bucket full of clean water.
  2. Engage safety latch on spray gun (14).
  3.  Attach black cleaning detergent nozzle (12).
  4. Flush for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Shut off engine.
  6. ALWAYS point gun (2) in a safe direction and squeeze spray gun trigger (15) to release retained high water pressure.
IMPORTANT: Spray gun (2) traps high water pressure, even when the engine is stopped and water is disconnected.

Automatic Cool Down System (Thermal Relief)
If you run the engine on your pressure washer for 3-5 minutes without pressing the trigger on the spray gun, circulating water in the pump can reach temperatures above 50°C. The system engages to cool the pump by discharging the warm water onto the ground.

Pressure washer maintenance

Check and Clean Inlet Screen (Y)
Examine the screen (Y) on the water inlet. Clean it if the screen (Y) is clogged or replace it if screen is damaged.
Check High-Pressure Hose (13)
The high-pressure hose (13) can develop leaks from wear, kinking, or abuse. Inspect the hose (13) each time before using it. Check for cuts, leaks, abrasions or bulging of cover, damage or movement of couplings. If any of these conditions exist, replace the hose (13) immediately.
Check Detergent Siphoning Tube (23)
Examine the filter on the detergent tube and clean if clogged. The tube should fit tightly on the barbed fitting. Examine the tube for leaks or tears. Replace the filter or tube if either is damaged.
Check Gun (2) and Nozzle Extension (4)
Examine the hose connection to the spray gun (2) and make sure it is secure. Test the trigger (15) by pressing it and making sure it “springs back” into place when you release it. Put the safety latch (14) in the starting position and test the trigger (15). You should not be able to press the trigger (15).

Nozzle Maintenance (12)
A pulsing sensation felt while squeezing the spray gun trigger (15) may be caused by excessive pump pressure. The principal cause of excessive pump pressure is a spray tip (12) clogged or restricted with foreign materials, such as dirt, etc. To correct the problem, immediately clean the spray tip (12) following these instructions:

  1. Shut off the engine and turn off the water supply.
  2. Remove spray tip (12) from end of nozzle extension (4).
  3. Use a small paper clip to free any foreign material clogging or restricting spray tip (12) .
  4. Using a garden hose, remove additional debris by back flushing water through the nozzle extension (4). Back flush between 30 to 60 seconds.
  5. Reinstall spray tip (12) filter into nozzle extension (4).
  6. Reconnect nozzle extension (4) to spray gun (2).
  7. Reconnect the water supply, turn on the water, and start the engine.
  8. Test pressure washer by operating with each Quick Connect spray tip (12).

O-Ring Maintenance
Through the normal operation of your pressure washer, o-rings are used to keep the connections of the hoses and spray gun tight and leak–free. These orings may become worn or damaged.
To remove a worn or damaged O-ring;
Use a small flathead screwdriver to get underneath the o-ring and pry it off.
Pump Maintenance
Changing Pump Oil (Fig. 10)
Change oil after first 50 hours of operation and then every 200 hours or 3 months, whichever occurs first.
Note: When changing pump oil, use only high-quality oil SAE 30 without a cleaning additive. Use no special additives. Change pump oil as follows:

  1. Clean area around brass oil drain plug at bottom of pump (W).
  2. Unscrew the oil tank cap with oil dipstick (20) by turning counterclockwise and place a suitable oil drain pan under the drain screw (W). Remove oil drain plug (W). Drain oil completely into an approved container.
  3. Unscrew the oil drain screw (W). Drain the entire oil into an approved container.
  4. When oil has completely drained, install oil drain screw (W) and tighten firmly.
  5. Add the recommended oil up to the “Max” mark at the dipstick (typically 0.43L or 15 oz).
  6. Install the oil tank cap with the oil dipstick (20) and close it by turning clockwise.
  7.  Wipe up any spilled oil.

Caution!
Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact with used motor oil.
Clean the air filter (Fig. 20)
Remove cover air filter (5).
ATTENTION!: Cover the intake openings with a clean cloth to prevent of dirt particles.
Remove air filter insert (Y).
ATTENTION!: To avoid eye injuries, do not blow out dirt particles. Do not clean the air filter with petrol.
Clean the air filter with a brush or a soft brush.
Thoroughly clean the soiled air filter in lukewarm soapy water using standard dishwashing detergents.
Dry the air filter well.
In case of heavy contamination, clean often (several times a day), because only a clean air filter guarantees the  full engine power.
ATTENTION!:
Replace damaged air filter immediately!
Demolished parts and coarse dirt particles can destroy the engine.

Replace the spark plug (21)
Warning!
Spark plug (21) or spark plug connector (10) must not be touched when the engine is running (high voltage).
Carry out maintenance work only with engine switched off.
The danger of burning at hot engine. Wearing safety gloves!

  • Remove the spark plug connector (10) from the spark plug (21).
  • Remove the spark plug (21) only with the mounting tool supplied.
  • Clean / replace spark plug
  • Refit the spark plug in reverse order

Electrode spacing (Fig. 22)
The electrode distance must be 0.8 mm. An important note in case of repair: When returning the device to the service station for repair, please note that the device must be sent free of oil and petrol.
Cleaning the appliance (Fig. 23)
Remove any foreign objects that have accumulated around or behind the muffler, on the unit, and around shifting elements. Use a brush or a soft cloth.

Storage and Transport

Preparing the unit for storage
Water should not remain in the unit for long periods of time. Sediments or minerals can deposit on pump parts and “freeze” pump action. If you do not plan to use the pressure washer for more than 30 days, follow this procedure:

  1. Rinse suction hose with filter attachment (23). To do so, immerse the filter in a bucket of clean water and simultaneously run the high-pressure cleaner in low-pressure mode. Rinse for one to two minutes.
  2. Shut off the engine and let it cool, then remove all hoses. Disconnect spark plug (10) wire from spark plug (21)
  3. Empty the pump of all pumped liquids by pulling the recoil handle (15) about 6 times. This should remove most of the liquid in the pump.
  4. Draw RV antifreeze (non-alcohol) into the pump by pouring the solution into a 3-foot section of garden hose connected (19) to inlet adapter and pulling recoil handle (2) twice. If available, use PumpSaver in place of RV antifreeze and follow package instructions.
  5. Store unit in a clean, dry area.
    Transport ot the high-pressure cleaner
    • Switch off the high-pressure cleaner.
    • Tipp the machine in your direction and roll the machine to the desired location.

 Disposal and recycling

The equipment is supplied in packaging to prevent it from being damaged in transit. The raw materials in this packaging can be reused or recycled. The equipment and its accessories are made of various types of material, such as metal and plastic. Never place defective equipment in your household refuse. The equipment should be taken to a suitable collection center for proper disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of such a collection point, you should ask in your local council offices.
