Introduction

The Logitech Bluetooth Audio Receiver lets you add the ease of wireless streaming to most speakers or home music systems. Multipoint Bluetooth, automatic reconnect, and simple setup. The 3.5mm or RCA inputs make it simple to connect the majority of home stereo systems, AV receivers, or computer speakers. Connect the Bluetooth® Audio Receiver to an electrical outlet.Easily pair your Bluetooth-enabled tablet and smartphone with a single click of the pairing button. When within range, the device immediately reconnects.  Switch between two Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as your computer and smartphone, and pair them to stream audio wirelessly.

Setup

1. Connect the power supply to the Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter. Then plug the power cord into electrical outlet.

2. If you have RCA outlet on your Speaker System then:
   Connect RCA jack on the Speaker.
   Connect the other hand of the cable to Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter.
   If you have 3.5mm outlet on your Speaker System then:
   Connect 3.5mm jack on the Speaker.
   Connect the other hand of the cable to Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter.
   

3. Press the Bluetooth pairing button on Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter. It will initiate the pairing and the LED will start blinking (for first time user, the pairing process will be initiated automatically).

4. Turn the Bluetooth mode ON (on your device) and scan for Bluetooth devices. You will see “Logitech BT Adapter” on the device list. Select and connect to it. “Logitech BT Adapter” will display a connected status.

5. The LED will turn into steady blue. You can now play music through your audio device wirelessly.

Connecting to two devices simultaneously

1. Make sure that your two devices are connected to the Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter following steps 1 to 5 of the setup. In case you were disconnected, please check your Bluetooth device list, select “Logitech BT Adapter” and reconnect.
2. Play music on device 1.
3. Stop playing music on device 1.
4. Start playing music on device 2, and the audio would switch automatically and will stream from device 2. It may take a few seconds to switch between devices.

Reconnecting a Bluetooth device

Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter will reconnect automatically to the latest connected device. If you are not using the latest connected device and you want to reconnect to Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter, you need to select Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter in your Bluetooth device list on your device You have then connected again to Logitech Bluetooth Adapter and can stream music again from your device.

Add devices
Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter can store up to eight Bluetooth devices in its memory (Two devices can connect simultaneously). For setting up each device, follow the set-up instructions.

• Does it come with all the wires needed ..is ac adapter and RCA?
  Everything you need is in the package. You can now play your music from your phone by converting your analog receiver to Bluetooth

• Will this work with a tv and Bluetooth headphones?
  No. This is a Bluetooth receiver, which means that it only accepts Bluetooth signals. In order for you to “transmit” signals from your TV to the headphones (also a receiver), you will need to purchase a “Bluetooth transmitter”.

• Any suggestion on how I would connect this to passive speakers to make them wireless speakers? I’m pairing the speakers to a Bluetooth receiver
  Why don’t you connect the speaker to the Bluetooth receiver and run them through the receiver? Unless I don’t understand your question. If these are Bluetooth speakers they can only connect to a receiver. This item makes a standard “rca “ connection into a Bluetooth receiver using your phone. Now you can use it to play music etc

• Why does this look exactly like the sinking wireless audio receiver? is there a difference?
  They are exactly the same! No difference at all. Some guy on YouTube took both apart, and chip for resistor, they are identical. Get whichever is least expensive. It sounds very good by the way, one of the best ones.

• Will this work with motorcycle stereo?
  Not easily, the unit is powered with 5V DC through the AC adapter that comes with it.

• Can this product connect the tv with RCA audio output to Sonos (powered) speakers?
  It is a receiver or transmitter if you want to transmit to say BlueTooth speakers yes. I would say it is mostly used to send a signal through a sound system that requires an input.

• Can I use both outputs the 3.5mm to one amp and the RCA l and right to another amp at the same time?
  You can but the stereo signal will be split. It will be the right or left speaker.

• Can you turn it off? Or do you have to unplug it?
  You can turn it off but to be honest, out of all the Bluetooth devices in my household, this device wants to reconnect constantly. So I either unplug it or turn my Bluetooth off at my phone or tablet. I do recommend this device though.

• Would this work on my Logitech z906 surround? sound
  Yes, works excellent.

• Am I missing something, how would this work with a set of speakers ie would I need 4 ports
  You need a receiver to hook it up into. For example, mine is in port video 3. I turn the receiver on and hit the video 3 button to turn it on. I open my iPhone. Hit the top of the bottom on the adapter till it blinks. Find it in Bluetooth as an Eskin bt adapter. Click on the adapter in Bluetooth. You should hear a beep As it has come online and play your music. Hope this is not confusing.

• Does this provide stereo output? It’s only working with one speaker.
  Sounds like the cable might be bad. Mine puts out the stereo. Both of the ones I have. I have two now and both work in stereo.
