Product Usage Instructions
Getting Started
Before starting the installation process, ensure you have all the
components and tools needed for the installation.
Measure and Mark Brackets
- Inside Mount: Place box brackets into the corners of the window frame and evenly space support brackets between them. Mark bracket positions.
- Outside Mount: Place box brackets on the headrail and evenly space support brackets between them. Measure bracket locations and mark positions.
Install Brackets
- Inside Mount: Drill pilot holes and install brackets using provided screws.
- Outside Mount: Drill pilot holes and install brackets using provided screws. Wall anchors may be required for secure attachment.
Insert Wand
Insert the wand into the blind for easy operation.
Attach Valance
Attach valance clips on the backside of the valance. Ensure they are evenly
spaced. Attach valance before or after blind installation based on mount type.
Install Blind
Slide the blind into the bracket and snap the door closed. Use both hands
on the bottom rail to lift or lower the blind. Rotate the wand to tilt the
slats.
Install Hold Down Brackets (Optional)
If needed, install hold-down brackets for added security and stability.

Quantities vary by blind size. Support brackets are provided for blinds >36” wide.
Measure and Mark Brackets
Important: Brackets must be aligned and level for proper blind operation.
Inside Mount
****Place box brackets into the corners of the window frame. Evenly space support brackets between box brackets, away from ladder cords. Mark bracket positions.
Note: Ensure support brackets do not interfere with ladder cords.
Outside Mount
Place box brackets on the headrail. Evenly space support brackets between box
brackets, away from ladder cords. Using a tape measure, measure bracket
locations. Mark bracket positions.
Note: Ensure support brackets do not interfere with ladder cords.
Install Brackets
Important: Brackets must be aligned and level for proper blind operation.
Inside Mount
Drill pilot holes and install brackets using the screws provided.
Outside Mount
Drill pilot holes and install brackets using the screws provided. Wall anchors may be required for secure attachment (not included).
Spacer Blocks – Outside Mount Only (Optional)
Spacer blocks provide an extra 3/8” clearance behind the blind to clear obstructions like window mouldings. Attach blocks to the end of each bracket. Use longer screws included with the spacer block kit.

Important: Valance clips are vertically adjustable. The final position can be set after installation is complete.
Attach Valance Returns (Optional)
Assemble Valance Clips (Optional)
Valance clips may come in 2 pieces. Slide pieces together before attaching them to the valance.
Attach Valance
Evenly space valance clips on the backside of the valance. For the Inside Mount, attach valance before blind installation. For the Outside Mount, attach valance after blind installation.
Install Blind
Slide the blind into the bracket and snap the door closed. Use both hands on the bottom rail to lift or lower the blind. Rotate the wand to tilt the slats. Blind slats should be tilted open before lifting and lowering.

- Are wall anchors included in the package?
- A: Wall anchors are not included in the package. They may be required for secure attachment during outside mount installation.
