How does it work?
The IBM Race2CyberVault sales contest is running from 1st March – 31st
August 2022.
Your final position in the Sales Contest is based on the success of your IBM
Storage business: for every unit of qualifying Storage products sold, you earn
points. The top performing company at the end of the Sales Contest will win a
seat at the exclusive IBM Storage Education Event in Q4 2022.
A total of 40 seats are available to IBM Business Partners as part of the
Sales Contest. The seats are split in separate groups according to their type
and competency level:

The markets are defined as CEE, DACH, France, Italy, MEA, Northern Europe (formerly Benelux & Nordics), SPGI, and UKI.
You will need to achieve a minimum level of sales points to qualify as a
winner. This will depend on your BP type and group.
The clip levels will apply as follows:
Specialist and Expert BPs
will have to achieve at least 20 points that relate directly to sales made at
the end of the contest
Registered BPs
will have to achieve at least 10 points that relate directly to sales made at
the end of the contest
Please note: this excludes points earned for the company through the “Driver
Bootcamp” and “Accelerator” initiatives.
At the end of each month, you will be able to see where your company stands in
the Sales Contest by checking our leaderboard.
What can I drive away with?

Win a place at our IBM Storage education event
The top 40 BPs across EMEA based on sales performance will win a place at the exclusive IBM Race2CyberVault education event. The Education Event is planned to take place in Q4 2022. Complimentary activities and accommodation are included in the reward for winners. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss current and future business strategies with key IBM executives. -
Win your very own team event
If you finish just outside the top 40, don’t worry – the next 10 BPs will get their own exclusive local IBM Race2CyberVault team education event organized and hosted in conjunction with the local IBM market team.
Win individual driver Bootcamp rewards
All individuals participating in the IBM Race2CyberVault can earn some
fantastic rewards for completing specified IBM Storage enablement steps, which
will run in parallel with the main sales contest.
You can earn IBM branded rewards for completing specified IBM Storage
education and enablement steps by participating in the different “Driver
Bootcamp” levels as displayed on the IBM Race2CyberVault page on BP
StorageZone.
As part of the reward for completing the “Driver Bootcamp” elements, you can
also earn points that will be counted towards your BP Company’s overall total.
Points will be defined on the IBM Race2CyberVault page on BP StorageZone.
How do I participate?
Taking part is simple, just sell the most qualifying IBM Storage products. For
each sale you make in the qualifying period, you will be awarded a specified
number of points.
Take your seat in the driver Bootcamp and you could be driving away with a
cool reward and add points to your company total.
At the end of each month, sales totals for each BP company will be published
on the leaderboard, so remember to check how your team is performing in the
race.
Please note: Points will be awarded on the basis of when sales are
recorded in the IBM reporting system, so make sure your sales are recorded
early.
Earn extra accelerator points
You can also add extra points to your company total by completing one of more
of the following business accelerators:
- Conducting a successful “Test-Drive” proof of concept
- Submitting an “IBM Storage Public Client Reference” comprising at least one of the eligible “focus products”
- Conducting a “Cyber Resilience Assessment” with a client
- Executing a “Storage Demand Generation Co-Marketing Campaign” targeting end customer clients around “Data Resilience with Flash”

Partner Distributors in EMEA having an IBM Business Partner Agreement for IBM
Storage Systems products and/or who have signed the IBM PartnerWorld
