General information
- Read this instruction manual carefully.
- Observe the instructions for the base unit.
Intended use
Only use the accessories:
- with a kitchen machine from the same series MUMS2, MUMS4, MUM5.
- With genuine parts and accessories.
- For squeezing juice out of citrus fruits.
Safety instructions
WARNING ‒ Risk of injury!
Improper use may cause injuries.
- Never assemble the accessories on the base unit.
- Only attach and remove accessories once the drive has stopped and the appliance has been unplugged.
- The accessories should only be used in the intended operating position.
Unpacking and checking
Find out here what you need to note when unpacking the appliance.
Unpacking the accessories and parts
- Take the accessories out of the packaging.
- Take all other parts and the ac-companying documents out of the packaging and place them to hand.
- Remove any packaging material.
- Remove any stickers or film.
Contents of package
After unpacking all parts, check for any damage in transit and complete-ness
of the delivery. Fig. 1

Cleaning the accessories before using for the first time

Take the strainer out of the con-tainer.

Clean all parts that come into con-tact with food before using for the first time.

Put the cleaned and dried parts out ready for use.

Prepare the base unit and the ac-cessories for use.

This accessory can be used with dif-ferent base units. You can prepare your
kitchen ma-chine as shown. Fig. 3
- Kitchen machine from the MUMS4 or MUM5 series
- Kitchen machine from the MUMS2 series
Fitting citrus press onto the base unit

Place the strainer in the container. Fig. 4

Place the citrus press on drive 2 as shown. → Fig. 5

Rotate the citrus press clockwise until it engages. → Fig. 6
The citrus press must be securely connected to the base unit. -

Squeezing citrus fruit
Note: Your model is equipped with a 4- or 7-level rotary switch depending on the features of the appliance. The recommended speeds for the 4-levelv rotary switch are always shown in brackets in these instructions for use.
- Cut the citrus fruit in half.
- Insert mains plug.
- Turn the rotary switch to set-ting 3-5 (2-3). → Fig. 7
- Press one half of the citrus fruit down on the pressing cone until no more juice escapes. Fig. 8
- Repeat the process until
- all of the fruit has been squeezed out
- the juice in the container reaches the “max” marking.
- Set the rotary switch to→ Fig. 9
- Unplug the mains plug.
Removing the citrus press
- Rotate the citrus press anticlockwise until it disengages. → Fig. 10
- Remove the citrus press from the base unit. → Fig. 11
- Pour the juice into a suitable container. → Fig. 12
- Take the strainer out of the container. → Fig. 13
Tip: Clean all parts immediately after use so that residues do not dry on.

ATTENTION!
Using unsuitable cleaning agents or incorrect cleaning may damage the
accessories.
- Do not use cleaning agents con-taining alcohol or spirits.
- Do not use sharp, pointed or metal objects.
- Do not use abrasive cloths or cleaning agents.

Cleaning the citrus press
- Remove the pips and large pieces of pulp from the strainer.
- Wash the strainer and container by hand or clean in the dishwasher.
