Basic operations

Plug the FMT-B7 in your car’s cigarette lighter socket.

The LED display will power on: 13.5 – bt – 108.0

When the LED display shows “bt”, the FMT-B7 is ready to pair. A voice notification “Waiting for connection” will be heard. Enable the Bluetooth function on your smartphone and search available devices. Select “FMT-B7” to connect the two devices. Once connected, you will hear the voice prompt “Bluetooth successfully connected”.

Set your car’s radio on FM and find an unoccupied FM channel. Adjust the FM frequency on the FMT-B7 Bluetooth transmitter to match the FM frequency of the car’s radio.

Adjust the FM transmitter frequency Press and hold the multifunctional button until the frequency display starts flickering. Press (backward icon) or (forward icon) and adjust the FM transmitting frequency to match the FM frequency of the car’s radio.
Play music
Play music from your smartphone:
After completing steps 1-5, you can start playing music from your smartphone. The music will be streamed from your smartphone to the car’s audio system via FM frequency.
Play music from USB flash drive:
Plug the USB flash drive into the USB port with “music” icon. FMT-B7 will recognize the device and start playing music automatically.
Play music from TF card:
Insert TF card into the TF card slot, FMT-B7 will display “tF” and start playing music automatically. The operations remain the same as in USB flash drive playing mode.
Change music sources:
Press and hold “phone icon” until the frequency starts flashing on the display. Keep pressing until TF (MicroSD card) is displayed. Repeat the same steps for USB and Bluetooth mode.
Hands-free calls
Once the FMT-B7 is ready to play music, you can also use its hands-free calls function.
While playing music, if there’s an incoming call, the FMT-B7 will switch to call mode automatically. Once you finish the call, it will switch back to music playing mode automatically.
