ASSEMBLY / CARE & USE INSTRUCTIONS

PREPARATION

Before beginning assembly of this product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with
package contents list and hardware contents list. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not
attempt to assemble this product. Stop and call our customer service center at 1-888-690-9800.

SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble or install the product. This outdoor furniture is designed and made for personal non-commercial use. It should not be used as a toy or tool. Children should not engage in the assembly, removal, or disassembly, of the product.

WARNING: To avoid damage of your new patio furniture, please use either the carton or another soft surface such as carpet as a working surface to prevent product damage during assembly.

Battery Installation

Step 1:

Make sure the control Knob is in the “ ” position. Unscrew the push button cap on the ignition module located on the control panel to access the battery compartment. The ignition module requires one AAA size battery (Included).

Step 2:

Spread the Decorative Glass Beads (C) out evenly over the burner area Use all the glass beads provided for best effect. Keep the glass beads clear of spark igniter to avoid accidental blockage.

*NOTES:
A percentage of glass beads may arrive split in half. This is normal. Additional beads may split after use.

Put the propane tank in the fire pit table and close the propane tank.

Step 5:

Securely tighten the Regulator (BB) to the propane tank valve on a 20 LB Propane Tank (CC) by rotating clockwise, hand-tighten only. Do not use a wrench to tighten! Use of a wrench may damage the quick closing nut and result in hazardous condition.

Step 8:

Wait until the decorative glass beads cool down before placing the Lid (B) over the burner and onto the fire pit table top ( A ).

* Note:

Storage of the fire pit table indoors is permissible only if the 20 LB Propane Tank is disconnected and removed from the table.

Gas Hookup and Information

  • A. Fuel                                                                                                                                   Before making gas connections, ensure the appliance being installed is compatible with the available gas type.
  • B.Gas Pressure Proper input pressures are required for optimum performance. Gas line sizing requirements need to be made following NFPA54

Pressure requirements for appliance are shown in table below. Minimum pressures must be met when other household gas appliances are operating.

The appliance and its individual shutoff valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping system during any pressures in excess of 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa).

The appliance must be isolated from the gas supply piping system by closing its individual manual shutoff valve during any pressure testing of the gas supply piping system at test pressures equal to or less than 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa).

  • Gas Connection Note: Have the gas supply installed in accordance with local building codes, if any. If not, follow ANSI 223.1. Installation should be done by a qualified installer approved and/or licensed as required by the locality.(In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter.
  • Note: A listed (and Commonwealth of Massachusetts approved) 3/8 in. T-handle manual shut-off valve and flexible gas connector are connected to the 3/8 in. control valve inlet.

If substituting for these components, please consult local codes for compliance.

Incoming gas line should be piped to the 3/8 inch connection on the manual shutoff valve.

A small amount of air will be in the gas supply lines. When first lighting appliance it will take a short time for air to purge from lines. Subsequent lighting of the unit will not require such purging. Never allow the ON/OFF valve to remain in the open position without pressing and continuing to hold igniter button FIRST.

OPERATING THE UNIT – LIGHTING AND EXTINGUISHING

FOR YOUR SAFETY, READ BEFORE LIGHTING

WARNING: IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY A FIRE OR EXPLOSION MAY RESULT CAUSING PROPERTY DAMAGE PERSONAL INJURY OR LOSS OF LIFE.

A. BEFORE LIGHTING, smell all around the unit area for gas. Be sure to smell next to the floor, because some gas is heavier than all and will settle on the floor.

B. WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS

  • shut on the gas to the appliance.
  • Extinguish any open flame.
  • If continues. immediately call your g as supplier or the fire department.

C. Use only your hand to push in or turn the gas control knob. Never use tools. If the knob will not push in or turn by hand, DO NOT try to repair it. Call a qualified professional service technician. Force or attempted repair may result in fire or explosion.

MANUAL (MATCH) LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS

  • STOP! Read the safety information above.
  • Push and slowly turn the control knob to the HIGH position. (See P1)

  • Hold ignitor to light the burner,release control knob after 45 seconds. (See P1)
  • Observe the flame height when lit. Flame should be 3 to 13 inches high. (See P2)

  • If the burner does not light before the match goes out, immediately turn the control knob to the OFF position.
  • Wait approximately five minutes to clear out any gas, and repeat steps 1-4 above.
  • If your burner fails to light again, turn the control knob to the OFF position and contact your dealer or gas burner.
  • To extinguish yous gas burner. turn the control knob to the OFF position. Be sure the control knob is turned fully off to avoid any gas leakage.

WARNING

  • Do not use this fire pit for cooking.
  • Do not burn any other materials than are supplied with and intended for use in this fire pit.
  • Do not pour water into fire pit.
  • The installation of this product must conform with local codes.
  • Do not use this fire pit if any part has been under water.
  • Do not store a spare or disconnected liquid propane cylinder under or near this fire pit.
  • After a period of storage, and/or non use, the propane fire pit should be checked for gas Icaks and burner obstructions before use.
  • Do not operate the propane fire pit if there is a gas ivak present.
  • Never use a flame to check for gas icaks.
  • Combustible materials should never be within 10 feet of the top, back or sides of your propane fire pit.
  • Do not put any other fire pit cover or anything flammable on, or beneath the fire pit.
  • The propane fire pit should never be used by children. Children must be supervised when they are anywhere near the appliance.
  • Users should be alerted to the hazards of high surface temperatures and keep a safe distance to avoid burning or clothing ignition.
  • Pay attention when operating the fire pit. It is hot in use and should never be left unattended. Do not transit it while in operation.
  • Should fire go out while burning, turn the gas valve off. Follow the instruction and wait five minutes before attempting to relight.
  • Never use charcoal or any other solid fuel in the fire pit. Never parch clothing or other flammable materials on or near the fire pit.
  • Never ican over the open fire pit or place hands or fingers on the upper portion of an operational unit.
  • Keep ventilation openings in cylinder enclosure(FIRE PIT BODY) free and clear of debris.
  • Do not rest feet on the fire pit.
  • Please take out the battery when not using the fire pit for an extended length of time.
  • Do not enlarge valve orifices or burner ports when cleaning the valve or burner.
  • Cylinder supply system must be arranged for vapor withdrawal
  • LP Tank used must include a collar to protect the cylinder valve
  • Never fill the cylinder beyond 80% full
  • Liquid propane gas is not natural gas. Only usc propane for this fire pit.
  • The conversion or attempted use of natural gas in a liquid propane unit or liquid propane gas in a natural gas unit is dangerous.
  • Do not use this fire pit on vehicles or boats. Always operate the appliance on flat ground outdoors.
  • Keep any electrical supply cord and the fuel supply hose away from any heated surfaces.
  • Do not use this fire pit unless all parts are in place.
  • Keep the appliance area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline, and other flammable vapors and liquids.
  • Inspect the hose before each use of the appliance
  • The hose assembly must be replaced prior to the appliance being put into operation
  • if there is evidence of excessive abrasion or wear or if the hose is damaged.
  • If the burner component be damaged ,please send email to supplier
  • Locating the hose out of pathways where people may trip over it or in areas where the hose may be subject to accidental damage. *
  • The burner must be replaced prior to the appliance being put into operation if it is evident that the burner is damaged.

The LP-gas supply cylinder to be used must be:

  1. constructed and marked in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation(D.O.T.) Specifications for LP-Gas Cylinders, or the Standard for Cylinders, Spheres and Tubes for Transportation of Dangerous Goods and Commission, CAN/CSA-B339, as applicable;
  2. Provided with a listed overfilling prevention device, and
  3. Provided with a cylinder connection device compatible with the connection for the appliance.

FOR LIQUID PROPANE GAS UNITS

  • Do not attempt to disconnect the gas regulator or any gas fitting while your fire pit is in operation,
  • A dented or rusty liquid propane cylinder may be hazardous and should be checked by your gas supplier prior to use.
  • Do not use a liquid propane cylinder with a damaged valve and any other worn out parts.
  • Transit and store the empty gas cylinders carefully and properly.
  • If you see, smell or hear the hiss of escaping gas from the liquid propane cylinder:              1. Turn off the gas supply and get away from the gas cylinder and the fire pit at once.         2. Do not attempt to correct the problem yourself.                                                                3. Get to your gas supplier and/or the fire department for help.

For liquid propane gas unit

OPERATION

CAUTION: Children and adults should be alerted to the hazards on high surface temperatures and should stay away to avoid burns or clothing ignition. Young children should be carefully supervised when they are in the area of the appliance.

WARNING: Do not use this appliance if any part has been under water. Immediately call a qualified service technician to inspect the appliance and to replace any part of control system and any gas control. Which has been under water.

SAFETY WARNINGS

  • Never leave the Fire Pit unattended during operation.
  • Clothing or other flammable materials should not be placed on or near the appliance.
  • Any guard or other protective device removed for servicing the appliance must be replaced prior to operating the appliance
  • Installation and repair should be done by a qualified service person. The appliance should be inspected before use and at least annually by a qualified service person. More frequent cleaning may be required as necessary. It is imperative the control compartment, burners and circulating air passageways of the appliance be kept clean.
  • Inspect the fuel supply connection before each use of the appliance.
  • Temporary storage of this appliance indoors is permissible only if it has been disconnected from its fuel supply (Natural or L.P. gas line).

WARNING

  • This appliance is hot when operated and can cause sever burns if contacted.
  • Do not burn any solid fuels in this appliance.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Wash with mild soap. Rinse with water and let air dry.

LIMITED WARRANTY
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and applies to defects in materials and
workmanship of your patio furniture provided your furniture is maintained with care and used only for personal, residential purposes.
Frames are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship.

Straps and/or Wicker Weaves are covered against defects in material or workmanship.

Sunbrella® fabric is covered for a period of five (5) year against defects in material or workmanship.

Exclusions: Items used for commercial, contract or other non-residential purposes; display models; items purchased “as is;” or items damaged due to acts of nature, vandalism, misuse or improper assembly are not covered. Discoloration or fading of the finish or fabrics as a result of exposure to the elements, chemicals or spills is not covered. Tabletop breakage, corrosion or rusting of hardware and damage to frames or welds caused by improper assembly, misuse or natural causes are not covered.

If within the stated warranty period a product is found to be defective in material or workmanship, the purchaser must contact the manufacturer’s customer service department at 1-888-690-9800. The manufacturer, at its option, will repair or replace the defective parts.

Warranty is to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Any replacement of warranted items will be in the original style and color or a similar style and color if the original is unavailable or has been discontinued. As some states do not allow exclusions or limitations on an implied warranty, the above exclusions and limitations may not apply. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
