Step 1

Press and hold the UNLOCK button for more than three seconds
GREEN LED flashes fast (2-3 times per second) and the RED LED flashes slow (1 time per second)
Bluetooth LE advertising is enabled for 15 minutes and makes the
Secuyou Smart Lock discoverable for a Thread border router
The Secuyou Smart Lock is in the unprovisioned (unpaired) state and is waiting to be commissioned through a Thread-BorderRouter.

Add lock
Step 2 (for iOS users)

Go to the HOME app on your iOS device

Open the Home app and tap Add
Tap Add Accessory
Use the camera on your iPhone or iPad to scan the QR code on the box of the accessory (Secuyou Smart Lock). If you have an iPhone 7 or later and see your accessory, hold your iPhone near the accessory to add it.
When the GREEN LED flashes rapidly (4 times per second), the Secuyou Lock is unprovisioned and a commissioning process is started over Bluetooth LE
When your accessory appears, tap it. If asked to Add an Accessory to the Network, tap Allow
During commissioning the LEDs turn off
Assign a passcode add your accessory to a room and name it to help you identify it in the Home app and control it.

How does it work?
Add automation on the iOS Home app or Google Home app

The Secuyou Smart Lock can be locked and unlocked from the ¡OS Home app or Google Home app
The Secuyou Smart Lock can be locked and unlocked by use of the UNLOCK button
When initiating a locking action the RED LED will flash rapidly.
When locking is completed the RED LED will stay solid for one second
When initiating an unlocking action the GREEN LED will flash rapidly. When locking is completed the GREN LED will stay solid for one second.

How does it work?
Add automation on the iOS Home app or Google Home app

The Secuyou Smart Lock can be locked and unlocked from the iOS Home app, or Google Home app by using scenes (e.g. coming home) or through voice control
The Secuyou Smart Lock can always be locked and unlocked by use of the UNLOCK button in Homelock mode.

Homelock
Home lock is when the UNLOCK button is always active

In Homelock mode you can always lock and unlock by use of the UNLOCK button. By default, Homelock is on (active)
To deactivate Homelock you need to set the lock-in privacy mode (Operating Mode)
When Homelock is deactivated (lock is in Privacy mode) you cannot unlock the lock by using the UNLOCK button
To activate Homelock you need to set the lock in Normal mode.

What does the LED tell me (1/2)?

Lock

When initiating a locking action the RED LED will flash rapidly. When locking is completed the RED
LED will stay solid for one second

Unlocking

What does the LED tell me (2/2)?

Locking is blocked
If the lock is blocked from locking the RED LED will flash fast (4 times per second) for about 5 seconds

Unlocking is blocked
If the lock is blocked from unlocking the GREEN LED will flash fast (4 times per second) for about 5 seconds.

First, the GREEN LED starts flashing – now factory reset is initiated (important to keep pressing the button)
After approximately 10 seconds the GREEN LED will start flashing (1 time per second) and the RED LED will stay solid on – how the lock is factory reset
In factory reset mode the Secuyou Smart Lock MATTER can locked and unlocked by pressing the UNLOCK button
The LEDs will turn off when the lock is locked and unlocked in the factory reset mode
Pull out the batteries and insert them again and the LEDs will indicate if the lock is in factory reset mode (GREEN LED flashes and the RED LED is solid on)
