OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature.
If this unit shuts itself off, first press the reset button on the APPLIANCE
LEAKAGE CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER (ALCI). Period ically check the safety plug to
verify it is in proper working order. Plug the appliance in an electrical
outlet and press the test button. The dryer should stop immediately. To resume
operation, press the reset button. In the event the test button does not work
properly, return the appliance to a service center or the manufacturer.
MAINTENANCE
Keep all vents and openings clear of hair, dirt and dust. The exterior of the
dryer can be wiped clean with a damp cloth only when switched off and
unplugged. Clean filters regularly.
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will cause the dryer to overheat. If
overheating occurs an automatic safety device w ill shut off the dryer. If
this occurs, unplug the cord and allow the dryer to cool for l O to 15 minutes
before starting. Make sure the air vents are clean.
WARNING: if any malfunction occurs, do not to attempt to repair it yourself. This appliance has no user serviceable parts.
CAUTION: Never allow the power cord to be pulled, twisted or severely
bent. Never wrap the cord tightly around the dryer. Damage will occur where
the cord enters the dryer, causing to rupture and short. Inspect the cord
frequently for damage. Stop use immediately if damage is visible or unit stops
or operates intermittently.
This hair dryer has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair the
appliance by yourself.
STORAGE
When not in use, dryer should be disconnected and stored in a safe, dry location, out of reach of children. Never wrap the cord around the dryer. Allow the cord to hang lose and straight from the hang ring.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
W hen using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic

- If dryer falls into water, unplug it immediately. DO NOT REACH INTO THE WATER!

- Dryer should never be left unattended when plugged in. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by on or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.
- Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. DO NOT USE ATTACHMENTS NOT RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER. Only use the Bio Ionic Universal Diffuser.
- Never operate this dryer if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped, damaged, or dropped in water. Return the dryer to a service center for examination and repair.
- Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not pull, twist, or wrap cord around the dryer.
- Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings might be blocked. Keep the air openings free of li nt, hair, etc.
- Never use while sleeping.
- Never drop or insert objects into any openings.
- Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
- Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat sensitive areas.
- Attachments may be hot during use. Allow them to cool before handling .
- Do not place dryer on any surface while it is operating .
- While using the appliance keep your hair away from the inlets.
- Do not use w ith voltage converter.
