Intended use
The BLUEPALM BP-B2500 with 2,240 Wh is a smart storage solution to efficiently
store excess energy from solar panels and release the stored energy when
needed, anytime, anywhere. It has integrated (MPPT) technology to optimise the
charging process. Our product is not suitable for use in highly sensitive
networks related to the safety of people and highly and life-dependent on
power supply, such as medical equipment, nuclear power plant equipment,
aerospace equipment, etc. Therefore, we do not accept any liability for
accidents involving personal injury, fires or machine breakdowns caused by the
use of our product with the above equipment. The BLUEPALM BP-B2500 has an IP65
rating is dustproof, has full protection against contact and is protected
against water jets from any angle

operation of this product. It contains important instructions for the use,
safety and maintenance of the appliance. Therefore, keep this manual in a safe
place so that you can refer to it at any time. Pass it on to subsequent users.
Please observe the following safety instructions carefully. If bodily injury
or damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions, the guarantee will
be invalidated.
DANGER!
- Before using the unit, check the unit and its connecting cables and accessories for damage. Do not use the unit if it has visible damage.
- Operate the unit only in conjunction with micro inverters and PV panels approved in the European Union. Check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your PV panel.
- Only charge the system using PV panels approved in the European Union and the connection cable included in the scope of delivery. Otherwise, overheating, fires, etc. may occur.
- Make sure that the product is operated in an easily accessible place so that you can quickly disconnect the unit from the PV panels and the Micro inverter in case of emergency.
- Carefully read the instructions of the devices you want to connect to the storage unit.
- Note that if your units are not ready to plug in and electrical installation is required, electrical installations should only be carried out by qualified personnel. Electrical work can be life-threatening and improper installation can result in serious injury or even death. Please contact a qualified electrician to have electrical work carried out.
- Do not crush the connection cable or drag it over sharp edges or hot surfaces. Do not use the connection cable for carrying.
- If the connections or cables of this unit are damaged, do not continue to use the unit to avoid danger.
- To reduce the risk of damage to the power plug and cable, pull on the plug and not the cable when disconnecting the product.
- Do not use the product beyond its rated capacity. Overloading the outputs beyond the rated value may result in a risk of fire or injury to persons.
- Do not operate the product with a damaged cable or plug or a damaged output cable.
- Do not use the product or accessories if they are damaged or altered. Damaged or altered batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour that can lead to fire, explosion or risk of injury.
- Unplug the connected MC4 plugs in case of malfunctions during operation and before cleaning the unit.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect the connector plug from the unit before carrying out any maintenance.
- Have maintenance carried out by a qualified repair technician and use only identical spare parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
- Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock or injury.
- Never pull the plugs out of the junction boxes by the cable or with wet hands.
- Never immerse the product in water or other liquids. If the product accidentally falls into water, store it in a safe, open place and keep it away from fire until it is completely dry.
- Never use the appliance after a malfunction, e.g. if the appliance has fallen into water or has been damaged in any other way.
- The unit is intended exclusively for domestic use or similar purposes. It must not be used for commercial purposes!
- Make sure that the unit is stable during operation and that you cannot trip over the connected cables.
- Check the system before each use. Do not use the system if it is damaged or defective. Do not use the unit and contact customer service if you find that the system is damaged, cracked, defective or has other defects.
- Do not stand on the product.
- Handle the product with care. It may be damaged by bumps, knocks or falls from a low height.
- Keep the product away from extreme moisture and extreme heat.

- DO NOT disassemble, repair or modify the system or battery. This may result in electric shocks, fire, etc.
- Never open the product yourself. Never carry out repairs yourself!
- Do not disassemble the product. Take it to a qualified service technician when maintenance or repair is required. Improper reassembly may result in fire or electric shock.
- Conversion or modification of the product impairs product safety and is prohibited. Caution: There is a risk of injury!
- All modifications or repairs to the appliance or accessories may only be carried out by the manufacturer or by persons expressly authorised to do so by the manufacturer.
- DO NOT place the system near a fire or expose it to extreme heat.
- Do not use or store this product in direct sunlight for an extended period of time, such as in a car, on a truck bed, or in any other location exposed to high temperatures. Doing so may cause the product to malfunction, be damaged or generate heat.
- If possible, do not expose it continuously to direct sunlight. This can lead to electric shocks, fires, etc.
- Only use the output socket to supply external devices or to connect to a micro inverter. Do not connect the output directly to the mains under any circumstances.
- DO NOT touch the system or the plugs with wet hands. This can lead to electric shocks.
- Do not put fingers or hands into the product.
- DO NOT rub your eyes if liquid from the system gets into your eyes. In this case, rinse the eyes with water and seek medical attention immediately. There is a risk of blindness.
- DO NOT dispose of the system with household waste.
- Observe the local regulations for disposal of the system.
- When disposing of secondary cells or batteries, keep the cells or batteries of different electrochemical systems separate from each other.
- DO NOT use unsuitable connection cables. This may result in electric shocks, fire, etc.
- DO NOT operate the system beyond the specified input voltage. This may result in electric shock, fire, etc.
- DO NOT use the system if it is not working properly. This may result in electric shocks, fire, damage to the system, etc.

- Keep the system away from pets.
- DO NOT use or store the system in an environment with high temperatures. This may cause the system to deform or overheat.
- If liquid from inside the system comes into contact with skin or clothing, wash the affected areas with tap water.
- Contact with the liquid can cause injuries.
- Unplug the connection cable from the power storage unit during a thunderstorm.
- A thunderstorm can cause an overcurrent from the socket and thus from the Micro inverter, which can lead to overheating, fires or other accidents.
- DO NOT lay the system on its side or turn it upside down during use or storage. This may cause the system to overheat, which may lead to accidents.
- Be especially careful not to drop the unit on the floor. Place the unit on a stable surface. This also makes it easier to read the displays.
- Keep the unit away from other objects when moving it.
- The unit should not be exposed to shocks or vibrations. Otherwise there is a risk of fire.
CAUTION
- If rust, strange odours, overheating or other abnormal conditions are detected, stop using the system immediately and contact the dealer or our customer service.
- The system meets all legal requirements for the transport of dangerous goods.
- This system contains LifePO4 batteries.
- According to airline transport regulations, lithium batteries with a capacity of 100 Wh may not be transported by air. When transporting in vehicles, ensure that the system is properly secured when transported in a motor vehicle.
- Failure to observe this instruction may result in damage to the equipment, electric shocks, overheating, fire and other accidents.
- The system may only be charged and used at ambient temperatures between -0 and 50 °C. If the system is operated above or below this temperature range, overheating or loss of performance may occur.
- Switch off the system immediately if it has been accidentally dropped, dropped or subjected to strong vibrations. To avoid accidents, please contact the dealer or our customer service to have the system checked and repaired.
- When you activate the protection function and disconnect the unit plug, disconnect the electrical equipment from the plug. Switch off the system when not in use/storage to avoid electric shock and unnecessary discharge of the battery, etc.
- During operation, power supplies generate electromagnetic fields that may interfere with the normal operation of medical implants or medical devices such as pacemakers, cochlear implants, hearing aids, defibrillators etc. If such medical devices are used, check with the manufacturer for any restrictions on the use of the devices. These measures are essential to ensure sufficient safe distance between medical implants (e.g. pacemakers, cochlear implants, hearing aids, defibrillators, etc.) and this product while in use.
- Operating the unit in a residential environment may cause radio interference.
- Do not use this product near strong static electricity or strong magnetic fields.
Notes on the integrated battery and disposal
- Used rechargeable batteries do not belong in household waste. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return used rechargeable batteries for proper disposal. You can return your rechargeable batteries to the public collection points in your community or wherever rechargeable batteries of the same type are sold.
- Batteries do not belong in the hands of children.
- Do not heat the battery above 60 °C and do not throw it into a fire: risk of fire, explosion and burns!
- Do not short-circuit the battery.
- Do not attempt to open batteries.
- Stop charging immediately if the unit is very overheated. A battery that becomes very hot or deforms during charging is defective and must not be used any further.
- Do not subject the battery to mechanical stress. Avoid dropping the battery, subjecting it to impacts, bending it or cutting it.
- When charging the battery, make absolutely sure that the polarity of the charging plug is correct. If the charging plug is connected incorrectly, the charger is unsuitable or the polarity is reversed, there is a risk of short circuit and explosion!
- Never discharge the battery completely as this will shorten its life.
- Battery maintenance should be carried out or supervised by personnel who are familiar with batteries and the necessary precautions.
- If the unit is to be stored for a longer period of time, it is recommended that the remaining capacity of the battery is approx. 30 % of the charge volume.
- The product can be charged at a temperature in the range 0-50 °C.
- The product can discharge in a temperature range from -10 °C to 50 °C.
- Low temperatures can affect the battery capacity of the product.
- Do not expose the product to fire or high temperatures. Exposure to fire or temperatures above 130 °C may cause an explosion.
- In case of fire, use a class D fire extinguisher, foam or CO2 fire extinguisher.
- When discharging, the product may feel warm. This is a normal operating condition and should not be a cause for concern.
- When charging the internal battery, work in a well-ventilated area and do not restrict ventilation in any way.
- Do not clean the product with harmful chemicals or detergents.
- Charge your LiFePO4 battery to 60 – 80% of its capacity before storage.
- Misuse, dropping or excessive force may cause damage to the product.
- Do not expose this product to flammable, explosive gases or smoke.
- The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for improper use resulting from non-compliance with the operating instructions.
- Keep the original packaging of the unit and use it for transport.

The packaging material can be recycled. It is therefore recommended to dispose of it in the sorted waste.

The symbol “crossed-out dustbin” requires the separate disposal of waste
electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Electrical and electronic

Scope of delivery
Commissioning
- Connect the solar module to B2500 PV IN
- Connect the Micro Inverter MC4 Input to the B2500 MC4 OUT
- Press the B2500 power button until the power indicator lights up
- When you are not using the B2500, you can switch it off by pressing the power button for 2s.
If you find that the micro-inverter is not functioning properly after the connection described above, please connect as follows: Connect one of the micro-inverse to the Output1 of the product, and the other micro-inverse should either be disconnected or connected to the solar energy.
*This issue arises from the fact that some of the micro-inverters available on the market have a common internal reference point. When both micro-inverters are connected to a battery bank simultaneously, the micro-inverter will function abnormally.

Important tips
- Before connecting the cables, make sure that the micro-inverter, the solar modules and the mains are disconnected and the unit is switched off.
- Before setting the output power of the BP-B2500, please check the rated power of your micro inverter. The output power should not be greater than the rated power of your micro inverter.
- The product should be protected from direct sunlight to avoid a rapid rise in temperature.
- Please check the accessories before installation, some accessories need to be purchased separately. After installation, please download the app first to check the generated power.
- For long-term storage, charge and discharge the product once every 6 months (discharge to 20%, then charge to 60-80%).
Specifications
Operating temperature range
Low temperatures may affect the battery capacity of the product. The product
can be charged in a temperature range of -10℃- 50℃. The product can discharge
in a temperature range of -10 °C to 50 °C. The product can store the device in
a temperature range of -10℃ – 55℃.
Operating the app
Power Zero can connect all your devices via Bluetooth® or Wi-Fi to track your
energy consumption and generation in real time. It dynamically displays the
device’s status data in real time, giving you control over the device’s
energy.
This software can be operated on mobile phones with Android 6.0 and iOS 12.0
or higher.
Software installation:
Scan the QR code and install the opened app on your smartphone.
Registration:
After installation, users can click on the desktop icon to go to the login
interface. The first time you open it, you will be taken to the server
selection.
Select “Register” and enter your email address. A confirmation code will be
sent to the previously entered email address to perform the verification.
Confirm your email address in the app with the code received and set a
password.
Log in with your e-mail address and the password you have chosen.
If you have forgotten your password, select “Forgot your password?” and reset
it.
In the login interface, click top right -> enter server selection. Select
different servers depending on the region.
Adding devices
After successful login, select “Add device” in the upper left corner to add a
device.
Open Bluetooth® on your smartphone and location sharing on the phone and
select the device to add it directly.
Once the unit has been successfully added, the name of your BP-B2500 will be
displayed on the Home screen.
By clicking on different devices on the device management page, you can switch
the connection to different devices. On IOS systems, swiping to the left
triggers changing and deleting devices, while on Android systems, a long press
on the device list triggers changing and deleting devices.
Device home page : Displays the status of solar charging, discharging and other conditions in real time.
Charging settings
2 modes:
- PV1 and PV2 charging the battery for fully charged, then discharged.
- PV1 and PV2 transmitting to Micro inverter.
Discharge settings : You can select the time period of each line and
power output of the product through the APP.
You can turn on the smart power control mode, in which the product will
automatically collect the household electricity, and control the product
output of the household electricity needs, thereby saving electricity.

Q: How can I extend the life or better maintain my floor mounted product?
A: If your balcony is frequently flooded, we recommend raising the product. This will prevent malfunctions due to prolonged submersion.

GUARANTEE
With this quality product from BLUEPALM, you have chosen innovation,
durability and reliability.
For this BLUEPALM unit we grant a warranty period of 2 years from the date of
purchase, valid in Austria, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Romania, the
Czech Republic and Slovakia! If, contrary to expectations, service work should
nevertheless be necessary on your unit during this period, we guarantee a free
repair (spare parts and labour) or (at the discretion of Schuss) a replacement
of the product. If, for economic reasons, neither repair nor replacement is
possible, we reserve the right to issue a credit note for the current value.
In the event of warranty claims, please contact your specialist dealer or us
directly. We would like to point out that repairs which are not carried out by
the authorised contract workshop in Austria immediately terminate the validity
of this warranty.
This guarantee does not apply to:
- Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear
- Damage due to non-observance of the operating instructions
- Devices that have been used – even only partially – for commercial purposes
- Devices that have been mechanically damaged by external impact (fall, impact, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as wear and tear of an aesthetic nature.
- Equipment that has been improperly handled
- Units that have not been opened by our authorised service workshop
- Equipment that does not meet consumer expectations
- Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning, overvoltage
- Units where the type designation and/or serial number on the unit has been altered, erased, made illegible or removed.
- Services outside our authorised workshops, the transport costs to an authorised workshop or to us and back, and the associated risks
We expressly point out that a flat rate of € 60 (Consumer Price Index 2010,
June 2015) will be charged within the warranty period in the event of
operating errors or if no error was detected.
The absolute guarantee period of 2 years from the date of purchase is not
extended by the provision of guarantee services (repair or replacement of the
unit). The 2-year warranty is only valid on presentation of the purchase
receipt (must contain the name and address of the dealer as well as the
complete designation of the unit) and the corresponding warranty certificate,
on which the unit type as well as the serial number (readable on the box and
on the back or bottom of the unit) must be noted! Without presentation of the
warranty certificate, only the legal warranty applies! We expressly point out
that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this warranty and
continue to apply in full. Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious
agents are only liable for damages in the event of gross negligence or intent.
In any case, liability for lost profit, expected but not occurred savings,
consequential damages and damages from third party claims is excluded. Damage
to or for recorded data is generally excluded from liability.
