DESTINATION AND LIMITATIONS OF USE
The AMESPHERE (cod. LPSUWB001, LPSUWB002, vt-7 PRO, TAGSAFETYUWB2, TAGUWBCHARGER) (hereinafter also referred to as ‘System’ or ‘Product’) is intended for installation on industrial trucks. The Product is an assistance system for human-vehicle and vehicle-vehicle proximity detection. It does not constitute a personal safety system and is not a safety device. It is not covered by Annex IV of Directive 2006/42/EC and as such cannot be used for residual risk reduction. Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by A.M.E. on a case-by-case basis, the System is not intended for use in special environments such as flammable gas atmospheres, explosive atmospheres, or corrosive atmospheres. The purpose of the System is to provide an additional aid to the driving of industrial trucks. While driving, however, the driver’s full attention is required at all times and the driver must be ready to intervene and operate the controls to avoid possible collisions or other hazardous situations, regardless of and apart from the System.

The System is not a substitute for the driver’s attention and judgment and in no way obviates the need for the driver to slow down or brake in a hazardous situation, nor does it relieve the Buyer and the operator of the need to adopt normal safety procedures as required or appropriate. The control of the vehicle remains in any case in the total responsibility and availability of the driver, who must always evaluate the conditions in which the vehicle moves, paying attention to the presence of operators, other vehicles, obstacles, and dangers in general.

PRODUCT INSTALLATION AND DRIVER INSTRUCTIONS
When installing the Product, it is necessary to comply with the instructions and indications provided by the vehicle manufacturer in the relative user manual (electrical and mechanical connections, etc.). The installation must be carried out by personnel suitably trained for this purpose and must not make or involve changes to the vehicle that affect the characteristics and/or requirements relevant to the declaration of conformity of the vehicle itself.

The System shall be installed in such a way that, under any circumstances, the driver of the vehicle is not prevented from bringing the vehicle to a safe state. The installation shall also not compromise the ergonomics and visibility of the driving position. The operator must be warned against developing dependence on assistance systems. Under no circumstances should the driver abandon normal cautionary behaviours. The operator must be properly instructed that even in the event of a sudden failure of the system, all safety procedures at the operating site, such as maximum speed in each area, must still be observed and caution must be always maintained when driving the vehicle. The operator should be made aware that he/she is, and will remain, responsible for driving the vehicle.

A.M.E. PRODUCER’S DISCLAIMER
A.M.E. is not responsible for the installation of the System and any consequent modifications to the vehicle and the installer is solely responsible for such modifications. In case of installation of the System not in accordance with the instructions and indications provided in the vehicle manufacturer’s manual, A.M.E. will not be responsible for any damage to the vehicle or loss of functionality of the same. In no event shall A.M.E. be liable for any direct or indirect damage of any kind
(including personal injury or property damage) suffered by the Buyer or any third party because of the use of the Product.
