Product description

The Appartme touch shutter switch allow control roller shutter and electric curtain rods using the Appartme mobile application.

Installation Guide

Security measures

  • before installation turn off the power supply
  • use an electrical tester to check the safety of the installation before assembly
  • make sure the mounting box fits the switch module and that the cables are long enough
  • the device should be installed by a person with appropriate permissions
  • Neutral Wire is required.Confirm the wall box contains a Neutral Wire

Installation of the shutter switch

  1. Remove the old switch

  2. Remove the switch and pull it away from the wall.
    Verify power is off. We recommend you remove the faceplate from the old switch and use an electrical tester to test all wires connected to the switch to ensure there is no voltage in the circuit. You may need to turn off more than one circuit breaker

  3. Follow the wiring diagram to connect the switch wires to the wires in the wall box with the wire conductors

  4. Open the switch panel from the bottom of the switch with a screwdriver

  5. Mount the switch with the provided screws and snap the wall plate on it.

  6. Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and then switch the light on.

Using Appartme application to control the socket

Installing the Appartme application.
In order to use the switch with a mobile application, you must download the Appartme application and add the device The socket connects to the Appartme mobile application via the Internet, make sure you have access to a WiFi network that has access to the Internet. To download the Appartme mobile application, scan the QR code below, download the application from the Play Store for Android or App Store for iOS or go to the website: www.appartme.pl/getapp

Registration of an Appartme account
After installation the Appartme application, the first welcome screen gives the user the option of logging in or creating an account. To create a new account, click on “Register”. The next screen allows us to enter the email address and password to which the user account will be registered – after completing the fields above, click “Register” to confirm the information. An activation e-mail will be automatically sent to the e-mail address provided, confirming your intention to open an Appartme account

Adding a device in the Appartme mobile application

  1. In the Appartme mobile App, go to “Devices” section, find and press the “Add device” button
  2. Select “touch shutter switch” from the list
  3. Connect the phone to the WiFi network that you intend to use to connect the device. Press the “Next” button in the application
  4. Enter the password for the WiFi network.
  5. Put the shutter switch in reset/ pairing mode by pressing the switch button for 6 times, and hold on the 6th time,then release until the blue indicator on the switch flashes fast. Pair/Reset is successful.
  6. In the application, press “Next” to start the pairing process. Pairing may take a while
  7. Successful pairing is announced by the appearance of the “Ready” button that must be pressed to complete pairing. If it fails, try again.
  8. Then select the room in which we placed the device
  9. In Appartme mobile app go through a calibration process

Warning!
If you have a problem adding a device, it may be due to the lack of sufficient WiFi coverage in the place where the socket is located

Terms of warranty

  1. Expo-Service Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw, Al. Witosa 31, 00-710 Warsaw, KRS: 0000107454,
    NIP : 1180015586, REGON: 001337635 (hereinafter: “Importer”)

  2. Appartme Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Kraków, ul. Dworska 1a / 1u, 30-314 Kraków, KRS: 0000839426, NIP: 6762580105, REGON: 38597630000000 (hereinafter: “Producer or Distributor”) guarantees that the sold device (“Device”) is free from defects in material and workmanship.

  3. The Distributor is responsible for the device’s malfunction resulting from physical defects inherent in the Device causing its operation not complying with the specification during

  4. 24 months from the date of purchase by the consumer,

  5. 12 months from the date of purchase by the business customer (the consumer and business customer are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Customer”).

  6. This warranty applies to the territory of the Republic of Poland. The warranty may be exercised outside the Republic of Poland if the Customer covers the costs of transporting the Equipment.

  7. The Distributor undertakes to free of charge remove defects revealed during the warranty period by repairing or replacing (at the Distributor’s discretion) defective elements of the Device with new or remanufactured parts. The Distributor reserves the right to replace the entire Device with new or refurbished ones. The distributor does not refund money for the purchased device.

  8. Distributor may replace the Device with another one with the most similar technical parameters.

  9. Before making a complaint, the Distributor recommends using the telephone or online technical support available at www.appartme.pl/support.

  10. In order to make a complaint, the Customer should contact the Distributor via the email address indicated on the website www.appartme.pl/support.

  11. After correctly submitting the complaint, the Customer will receive contact details for the Authorized Warranty Centre (“ACG”). The customer should contact and deliver the Device to ACG. After receiving the Equipment, the Distributor will inform the Customer about the notification number (RMA).

  12. Defects will be removed within 30 days from the date of delivery of the Device to ACG. The warranty period is extended by the period during which the Device was available to ACG.

  13. The claimed device should be made available by the customer along with complete standard equipment and documents confirming his purchase.

  14. The costs of transporting the claimed Equipment on the territory of the Republic of Poland will be covered by the Distributor. In the case of transporting the Equipment from other countries, the transport costs will be covered by the customer

  15. ACG refuses to accept a complaint in the event of:

  16. finding that the Device has not been used in accordance with its intended purpose and operating instructions,

  17. the Customer’s provision of an incomplete Device, without accessories, without a data plate,

  18. finding the cause of a defect other than a material or production defect inherent in the Device,

  19. invalid warranty document and lack of proof of purchase.

  20. The quality guarantee does not cover:

  21. mechanical damage (cracks, fractures, cuts, abrasions, physical deformations caused by impact, falling or throwing another object on the Device or operation contrary to the intended use of the Device specified in the operating instructions);

  22. damages resulting from external causes, e.g. flood, storm, fire, lightning, natural disasters, earthquakes, war, social unrest, force majeure, unforeseen accidents, thefts, liquid flooding, battery leakage, weather conditions; sunlight, sand, moisture, high or low temperature, air pollution;

  23. damage caused by malfunctioning software, due to a computer virus attack, or failure to apply software updates in accordance with the Manufacturer’s or Distributor’s instructions;

  24. damages resulting from: overvoltage in the power and/or telecommunications network or from connecting to the power network in a manner inconsistent with the operating instructions or due to the connection of other products whose connection is not recommended by the Manufacturer or Distributor;

  25. damage caused by operation or storage of the Device in extremely adverse conditions, i.e. high humidity, dust, too low (frost) or too high ambient temperature. The detailed conditions under which the use of the Device is permitted are specified in the operating manual;

  26. damage resulting from the use of accessories not recommended by the Manufacturer or Distributor;

  27. damage caused by a faulty electrical installation of the user, including the use of incorrect fuses;

  28. damages resulting from Customer’s failure to perform the maintenance and servicing activities provided for in the operating manual;

  29. damages resulting from the use of non-original spare parts and accessories improper for the model, carrying out repairs and alterations by unauthorized persons;

  30. defects arising as a result of continued operation with a defective Device or accessory.

  31. The warranty does not cover the natural wear and tear of the device’s components and other parts listed in the instructions for use and technical documentation with a specified operating time.

  32. The device warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend the Customer’s rights under the warranty.

  33. The Distributor or Manufacturer shall not be liable for damage to property caused by a defective Device. The Distributor or Manufacturer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or moral damages or damages, including but not limited to lost profits, savings, data, loss of benefits, third party claims and other damages arising or related to using the Device
