MK4 FOCUS ST Clubsport Gearshift Padoles
CLUBSPORT GEARSHIFT PADDLES Mk4 Focus st Fiesta/kuga/puma
- Flat-blade screwdriver
- T27 torx
- Trim tool
tools required:
Time 60 minutes Approx.
Disconnect negative terminal from
battery (critical that this is performed first!)
Remove the three, 7mm fixings.
Use a trim tool
to remove upper steering column trim.
Using a flat
head screwdriver, push clips on both sides to release airbag.
Disconnect cable from airbag and remove – pull orange tab upwards
to remove airbag assembly.Disconnect cables from buttons and
remove trim from steering wheel (gentle force may be required).
Disconnect paddle cable and remove T27 Torx fixing from both
sides.
Remove paddle assemblies from the
steering wheel.
Push the pin out of the original paddle
assembly.
Using flat head screwdriver, push tab
in to remove circuit assemblies from OE paddles.
Install circuit assemblies to new paddles, ensuring paddle locks
in to tab.
Reinstall pin to each
paddle.
Reattach paddles, fixings and cable
connectors
Reattach steering wheel trim (gentle
force required).
Reconnect air bag, orange connector
needs to be pushed in otherwise it won’t seat correctly.
Reconnect battery and installation is complete (an error code is
likely to appear but will clear after driving).
