ZENICHAM 900D T Top Boat Cover
HEAVY-DUTY TRAILER ABLE BOAT COVER
CAUTION:
If your boat is new or has recently changed to new boat accessories, it is not
recommended to use this product within the first four weeks of ownership. Some
compounds used in new boats can release gases that can cause the dyes in boat
covers to transter to the boat, potentially staining the boat or its
components. Boat covers can be safely used after this introductory period.
INSTALLATION:
- Begin by placing the bow (front) end of the cover (end with sewn-in rag marked “front”) loosely cover the bow and unroll toward the stern (back) of boat cover 1-Top, between antennas (if applicable).
- Working from side to side, spread cover down the sides of the boat. If applicable, locate the antenna opening, undo the hook and loop closure and slide the antennas through the opening. Adjust the cover from bow to stern and from side to side so the cover is centred. Fasten and close hook and loop opening over antennas (or outriggers).
- From either side of the boat, tie off one side of the sewn-in draw rope (Fig 1) securely. Close the hook and loop flap over the draw rope and install it over the hook on the end of the Rope Ratchet. Thread the order end on the draw rope through the Rope Ratchet and pull it tight to secure it. Adjust the Rope Ratchet so that the hook and loop flap can close over it. Failure to close the hook and loop flap over the Rope Ratchet could cause damage to the boat.
- Included are 10 straps to secure your zenithal cover to your boat. For the first use of the 5 straps on the top of the cover, the metal ladder lock buckle needs to be attached to the quick-release straps as shown in Fig 2. If the strap is threaded correctly through the buckle, the strap will lock in place when tension is applied. Failure to do this properly will result in the straps loosening during use.
- 5 of the straps connect over the top of the cover, and 5 connect around the bottom. This system allows the cover to be secure on your boat. This arrangement is shown in Figure 3- The top of the cover is connected by 10 metal ladder locks, and the bottom of the cover is connected by 10 metal hooks.
- Tighten down the cover by pulling down on the ends of the straps. Tighten both sides of the cover evenly. Do not over-tighten.
- Upon completion of installation close both zippers located on each side of the cover. Zippers are provided for easy access to the boat while covered.
CLEANING AND CARE:
Proper care will extend the life of your boat cover. If your boat cover
becomes dirty it can be cleaned with lukewarm water and a soft brush. DO NOT
USE SOAP—it can damage the protective coatings on your cover.
STORAGE:
Be sure your cover is completely dry before you store it for any extended
period.
TRAILERING:
To use your Boat Cover when trailering you MUST use all the included straps-
failure to do so will invalidate your warranty. Be sure to check that all the
straps are tight and firmly attached. After driving the first mile, stop and
check your cover to ensure that all straps are secured correctly.
