Triplett and Cacahouet Board Games

CONTENRS
72 cards + 1 game rules.
SET UP
Spot as many winning podiums as you can to win the most cards.
Shuffie the cards, Divide into 3 equal piles and place them face down in the
middle of the table. Turn over the top card of each pile and place it face up
in front of that pile. This gives you 2 lines of 3 piles (1 line of face-down
piles ~the stacks -and 1 line of face-up cards).
BE CAREFUL
when turning over the card and make sure no one gets a sneak peek !
HOW TO PLAY
Any player may cal out the character.
THE AZM: To spot a iinning podium where the same character appears on
each of the three face-up cards on a different step : 1st, 2nd and 3rd
position.
- Be the first to call out the characters name when you see it on all three steps, It might be Cacachouette, the nice nut, or Tomato-Cerise, the seriously stuffed cherry tomato, or Cornichonchon, the sour and grumpy gherkin, or Rigolive, the heammg black olive.
The round then stops. Everyone checks the winning podium and, if orrect, you win the pile of face-up cards under the card where the character appears on the top step. Keepthat pile in front of you a5 your winnings. You must quickly turn over a face-down card from the stack behind the pile you won and place it face up n the empty spot. Three cards are now visible and play continues. - If no winning podium is revealed , it s the next players turn (clockwise). That player picks the top card from one of the piles and places itin front of that pile (on top of the card that s already there) and play continues. If there is till o winning podium, the next player on the left has a turn to reveal a card from one of the piles, and so on in a clockwise direction.
- If a player calls out the wrong winning character, they must discard two cards from their winnings. Ifthey have no cards, they do not discard any. If they only have one card, they discard one card. The player who wins the next podium takes the winning pile of cards plus the discarded cards.
Several players may call out the wrong name in a round, adding more cards to the discard pile.
Note When two players call out the same winning character at the same time, there s no winner. A new card is turned over to find a new podium.
WARNING THE GAME
The game ends when there are no cards left in the stacks. The winner is the
player with the most cards in their winnings !
Note : When a stack s finished, redistribute the face-down cards to
create three even piles. When the game ends, the cards remaining in the middle
of the table are not counted.
Important : There may be 2 or even 3 characters with winning podiums on
the 3 face-up cards.
If a player calls out the 3 names, they win the 3 ples and tur over 3 new
cards
If a player only calls out 1 name, they win that ple. If any other podiums are
not spotted and a new round begins (a new card is turned over), those podiums
are forfeited.
If several players call out a different winning character, each player wins
the corresponding pie.
If several players call out the same winning character at the same time,
nobody wins and the round continues.

Abonus for kids and adults wanting even more fun.
When the same character is on the top step of the podium on all 3 face-up
cards, players can call out ‘triple step’ or ‘triple’ plus the character’s
name and win one pile of their choice for their winnings.
