Get Started & Owner’s Instructions Booklets
This short guide is not intended to explain all the functions of the
appliance.
Please read all the owner’s instruction booklet before use. ECAM35075SI
GET READY
Remove all stickers and clean all accessories with warm water and mild
detergent and dry them. Prepare the machine to be rinsed and follow the
instructions on the display. This is only required the first time out of the
box.
The machine will
deliver hot water and will shut off automatically once the rinsing is
complete.
FIRST USE CYCLE
The machine is ready to be used. To finalize the set up and ensure best results, brew and dump the 4 or 5 espressos.
BREW ESPRESSO
- Simply select one of the pre-set beverages from the display or from the Drink Menu. The preparation will start immediately.
- Optional – If you want to customize the strength of your pre-set beverage, select it by pressing the Strength button until the desired level before selecting the recipe.
- Select the One Touch recipe and preparation will start.
- OR… Select the recipe from Drink Menu.
- You can use pre-ground coffee by selecting the pre-ground option and pressing the strength button six times.
- Use the specific funnel to add pre-ground coffee and select a recipe.

MILK RECIPES
To make a Milk recipe, use the provided milk container. Use cold cow milk or your preferred milk alternative. Whole milk or oat milk will give the best results.
- Open the lid and make sure the milk intake tube is correctly inserted in the bottom of the milk container lid.
- Use the selector to choose between flatter or dryer foam.
- Select the One Touch Milk recipe OR select the recipe from Drink Menu.
- Twist the selector to “clean position” after the beverage is ready to start the cleaning cycle.

EXTRACTION GUIDELINES
Depending on your choice of beans, you might need to adjust the grinder setting to a finer or more coarse choice.
• Flow like warm honey
• Nut-brown Crema
• Well-balanced and lingering taste| • Flowing fast like water
• Light and pale Crema| • Flowing in drips or not at all
• Crema very dark and not uniform
To make it perfect:
- Adjust the grinding setting to a finer setting
- Select a higher strength
To make it perfect:
- Adjust the grinding setting to a coarser setting
- Select a lower strength
CLEANING
Keeping your machine clean will improve the quality of the beverage and life span of the machine.
- Empty drip tray daily and empty coffee ground container when lights come up.
- Once a month, clean the inside of the machine. Follow User Manual detailed instruction section 14.9.
- Remove and clean each part of the milk container lid. Follow User Manual section 14.10.
DESCALING
4 Promptly descale when the indicator light comes on. Follow user Manual section 15.
INSERT WATER FILTER
To ensure a better quality of water installs the provided water filter. Under
normal use, filters last about 3 months. If the coffee maker is left unused,
the filter will last a maximum of 3 weeks. *The type of filter may vary.
6 Once the filter is
installed, activate it on machine Settings ––> Maintenance ––> Install Filter.
See section 17 of the User Manual for detailed instructions.
SET WATER HARDNESS
Analyze the hardness of your water to set your machine accordingly.
- Dip the provided Total Hardness Indicator in a glass of water for one second and shake it.
- Wait a couple of minutes. Read the Indicator paper colors and compare them with this table.
- Set water hardness on the machine from Setting Menu ––> General ––> Water Hardness. See the User Manual at section 16.2 for further details.
