- Thank you for purchasing this 2 person’s inflatable kayak WATTSUP COD. Please follow these instructions for proper assembly. Failure to follow these instructions could result in drowning or serious injury.
- This manual contains important safety instructions. Please read it carefully to ensure you understand it before using the kayak and keep it for future reference.

- A Personal Flotation Device is required for each user!
- Do not use around sharp objects.
- Do not leave the product exposed to direct sunlight as it will shorten the lifetime product.
- Inflatable boats are often used with oars. So be careful when the wind is strong and you are sailing the boat without a keel. The boat can quickly drift away.
- Do not dive or jump
- Keep away from fire
- Beware of offshore winds and currents. Do not use in high wind or open water!
RECOMMENDATIONS
- To increase enjoyment with your kayak and protect the safety of passengers and the operator using the kayak, always strictly adhere to the following safety warnings:
- Wearing a life jacket is not compulsory for beach gear, but strongly recommended. Children and non-swimmers must wear a personal flotation device at all times. Children and non-swimmers require special instruction in the use of personal flotation devices.

- Adults should inflate the chambers in order of numbering.
- Excessive inflating of the kayak can burst the chambers or cause damage to the welded seams. Failure to follow the operating instructions, which may indicate the order of inflation and assembly, can result in capsizing and drowning.
- Be careful when getting on and off the kayak. Enter through the centre of the kayak for maximum stability. Evenly distribute the weight of passengers, gear and accessories, so the kayak is level front to back and side to side. Uneven distribution of people or loads in the kayak can cause capsizing and drowning.
- Do not use your kayak if you suspect a puncture or a leak. It could be dangerous.

Before removing the kayak from the packaging, make sure that there are no sharp objects where the kayak will be inflated. Make sure all included parts are in the box.

- Unfold the kayak.
- Insert the inflatable Floor into the Kayak body:
- Put the inflatable floor above the tubes properly.
- Make sure the drain plug on the Kayak aligns with the centre of the hole on the inflatable floor.
- Insert the inflatable floor under the Kayak tube.
- Check the valves and the water drain plug, which should be in the closed position.
- Inflate the floor (8PSI), then inflate the tubes of the Kayak (3.5PSI) respectively and in order.
- Insert PE splash guard into the left and right pockets.
- Attached velcro footrest on the floor.
- Attach a mesh storage bag to the tube.
- Attach the velcro bottom of the seat with the velcro strip on the floor, and attach the strip of a seat on the tube side by hooks.
- Install the fin on the bottom of the Kayak.
- Install the paddle. The paddle can be fixed on the tube side by 2 velcro paddle holders.
- The outside temperature as well as the water temperature influences the pressure of the kayak. Adjust the pressure accordingly: in cold weather, the kayak loses pressure, while in heat the air will expand.
VALVES
- The valves are pre-assembled, you can leave them permanently, as they will not damage the fabric or disturb the user of the kayak. Unscrew the cap then place the pump hose to inflate the kayak. (photo 1)
- To deflate the kayak; press on the nipple and twist it. (photo 2). Once deflated, screw the cap back on to close the valve.
ASSEMBLY OF STANDARDS FINS
- Remove the protective tab located in the groove by sliding it forward.
- Insert the fin from the front into the groove
- Position the safety tab transversely to the spoiler, until the locking clip appears on the other side.
DISASSEMBLY
- After using the kayak, it is important to drain any water that has been collected inside. Open the drain plug and after most of the water has drained, turn the kayak upside down to drain the rest of the water.
- After use, please clean your inflatable kayak so that it will not be damaged by sand, salt water or sunlight.
- Clean the inflatable kayak with a mild detergent and water. (Do not use solvents such as gasoline as they can corrode surface materials or plastic parts of the kayak.)
- Make sure the kayak is completely cleaned and dry before storing it, otherwise, mould can grow.
- To deflate your kayak, press the valve to lock it open.
- Once deflated, fold up the kayak starting with the side opposite the valve. Place it in the backpack and store it in a dry and ventilated place at over 15 ° C.
VALVE MAINTENANCE
When using it for the first time, it is imperative to check the tightness of the valve before any navigation. If an air leak is present at this location, please follow the instructions below.
- Open the cap and take the valve key (supplied). Position it in the valve and unscrew it.
- The valve consists of 3 parts, the top cap, the valve body, and the valve holder located in the kayak.
- Reposition the valve body in its support, checking that no filament is trapped in the thread. Finish tightening with the wrench provided.
MAINTENANCE
- Because the fabric of the boat is PVC, it does not need maintenance. So you don’t need to use talc when the boat is folded.
- Clean the boat with soapy water. If you find persistent stains like oil and tar, you can remove them with thinner.
- After using the thinner, always clean the boat with fresh water. It is also important to clean the valves.
- The transom, the seat and the wooden planks are made of plywood and treated with waterproof paint.
- Any damage to the paint should be immediately cleaned and painted to prevent water from damaging the wood.
- When you are not using the inflatable boat, we recommend that you cover it with a boat cover against the sun and dirt.
LOST OF PRESSURE
An inflatable boat cannot lose more than 20% air pressure in 24 hours. In this case, do the following:
- Check that all the valves are tight.
- Check if all the valves are clean.
- See if you can find any damage.
- Check the seams.
- Use soapy water on the boat to check for small leaks. (See page 22.) Due to the temperature difference, the pressure may increase or decrease.
LEAK DETECTION
- Take liquid soap, water and a sponge.
- Cover the kayak with a mixture of soap and water.
- Wipe the entire kayak with a sponge, bubbles will form where the leak is.
- Rinse and dry your kayak and mark the location of the leak with a Pen or felt tip pen.
REPAIR KIT
Take 160 sandpaper, scissors, cotton cloth, acetone and the repair kit included.
- Define an area of at least 3cm around the leak and mark it a marker.
- Cut a patch of the same size (in the repair kit included
- Wipe the entire area with sandpaper as well as the patch, then clean with a cloth dampened in acetone to remove any dust.
- Use the glue provided and spread it over the defined area of the board as well as the entire patch. Wait 2-3 mins.
- Put the patch on the board at once, and let it dry for 24 hours.
WARRANTIES
- The effective date of the warranty is the invoice date.
- The warranty on the inflatable kayak is 2 (two) years.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear and discolouration from exposure to the sun.
- Damage caused by abuse or failure to perform normal maintenance.
- Damage caused by collision with submerged objects, stranding or falling.
- Damage caused by storing the floor in water.
- Damage caused by alterations or modifications.
- All other consequential damage, incidental damage or incidental expenses, including material damage.
