FAQ
- Q: What should I do if the interface display shows an error message?
- A : Check the wiring connections and power supply to ensure everything is correctly set up. If the issue persists, refer to the user manual for troubleshooting steps.
- Q: Can I connect multiple HVAC systems to this universal interface?
- A : The HVAC universal interface is designed to control a single system. For multiple systems, each would require its own interface.
The universal HVAC interface (CoolMaster) allows you to control a VRV, VRF or multi-split air conditioning system (HVAC system) via the Niko Home Control installation. The HVAC interface supports the following systems: Daikin VRV, Sanyo (Panasonic) VRF, Toshiba VRF, Mitsubishi Electric VRF, LG VRF, Fujitsu (Atlantic)VRF, Mitsubishi Heavy VRF, Hitachi VRF. Several zones or rooms can be connected to the HVAC interface. Each zone or room must be fitted with a Niko Home Control HVAC thermostat.
The HVAC interface is equipped with an IP and an HVAC connector that must respectively be wired to the connected controller and the HVAC bus or HVAC system. The display on the HVAC interface provides extra information about the connected indoor units. To program zones or rooms, you need the correct addresses of the indoor units on the HVAC bus. These addresses can be provided by the HVAC installer. Check www.niko.eu (Applications > Niko Home Control) for more information about the supported HVAC systems and their configuration.
