OSCULATI PVC 100 l Flexible Water Tanks
Installation
First of all, choose the area where the tank is to be located. Remember that
the air intake has to be in the upper part of the tank.
Air intake serves two main purposes:
A. it works as a vent when the tank is filled, thus avoiding the formation of
air bubbles;
B. if it is left open in the winter period, it lets air circulate in the tank.
We recommend not to use the air intake as water intake or drain.
Inlet and outlet fittings are supplied separately in order to perform
installation according to customized personal needs. Do not install fittings
on the tank bottom or near welding.
Use the seal inside diameter of the tank as a reference to mark the hole to be
cut or fold the PVC wall in half and cut it with scissors.
Mount the A part of the fitting inside the tank. Mount the B seal between the
PVC wall and the outside of the tank, paying attention the protruding part is
towards the tank wall.
Once the tank is installed, rinse it many times with running water.
Maintenance
At the end of the season wash the tank using a chlorine-free product effective
against bacteria and algae to disinfect and remove odours and deposits.
Unscrew all the fittings so they get dry. Store in a dry place.
If necessary, perform these steps again at the beginning of the new season.
