Important Notice before operating F810 Plus
Please read this card carefully before using the product. It will help you to use the product quickly and correctly.
-
When you receive the product and are ready to test it, please ensure that you move to an open outdoor environment.
As a GPS outdoor wireless fence system product, it cannot be tested or used indoors or in very small area.
-
Upon initial startup, allow a few minutes for the GPS signal to be searched. During this time, the GPS and == icons on the interface will flash rapidly as the device searches for a signal. Once the 4 dashes stop flashing and the GPS signal bars appear in the left upper corner, it indicates that the GPS signal is found, and you can proceed to next step for setup of the center point. If the
- GPS signal is not detected, try moving to an open area and attempt again.
- (Note: There is no or weak GPS signal under trees, indoors, or under overhangs.)
-
To set up the center point and boundary, then press any button to light up the screen and then press the positioning button for 3 seconds until “000” is displayed, establishing the center point. To set the radius, click the positioning button again and use the up or down button for adjustments, and for confirmation wait for 5 sec or just press the positioning button. It is crucial to establish the center point with a strong GPS signal, as a low signal strength (2 bars or below) will hinder the device from establishing the center point.
The location setting will be more accurate after the 5-grid signal was displayed for 2 minutes. -
Although the device features an automatic memory function, we recommend resetting the central point in accordance with step 3 if the device has not been used for several days. Whenever you change your training location, it is necessary to reposition both the central point and safe radius distance. If the system detects that you have changed locations but have not yet repositioned, a beep sound will emit and the positioning marker will flash. At this time, simply reset the central point.
-
Training your dog beforehand is essential before using this product, as they might not understand it otherwise. Please consult the provided training manual for guidance or its video version.
-
The product is equipped with protective measures to prevent accidental warning in areas with weak GPS signals, such as indoors. This may also explain why the device does not function when the dog goes beyond the set boundaries. Therefore, please ensure that the boundaries are set in an area with strong GPS signals.
-
For the collar to emit a warning, three criteria must be met:
the position should be outside the safe zone, GPS signal strength should be greater than 2 bars, and the collar should be shaking, mimicking the dog’s movements while walking or running. During manual testing, ensure to walk with the collar beyond the boundary and shake it appropriately. -
The performance of this product may be affected in rainy or cloudy weather as it can impact the accuracy of satellite signals.
-
We highly recommend resetting the center point and radius of the containment system every 4-5 days to ensure consistent and accurate performance.
