CONNECTING AND OPERATING

1. Connect USB3.0 cable to both the capture card and the PC/Laptop. (Must be connected to the USB3.0 interface of the PC/Laptop).
2. Connect HDMI2.0 cable to both capture card and signal sources. (Such as PS4/5/PC/DSLR,etc.)
3. Turn on the signal source.
   Attention: Insert/Extract cables gently.

OBS SETTINGS

1. Open OBS, select the second“ Source” box in the lower left corner, click“ +” and select “4K USB3.0 Capture”, click“ OK”.
2. Double-click“ 4K USB3.0 Capture” or right-click“ 4K USB3.0 Capture” —-“ Properties”, set as shown, click“ OK”

Attention: If the preview resolution only shows 1280*720 highest, it means that the capture box is not correctly connected.
So please check before use:

1. Whether the USB3.0 cable used is the original cable.
2. Using USB3.0 interface.
3. Must need to connect to the BACK port USB3.0 interface if using PC.

SOUND SETTINGS

1. Right click on the“ Speaker” icon in the lower right corner of your computer and“ Open Sound Settings”.
2. Select“ Sound Control Panel” and set it as shown below:

RECORD SETTINGS

1. Click“ Settings” at the bottom right corner of OBS, select“ Output”, choose the video save path, format, quality, etc., click “OK”.
2. Click“ Audio”, select“ Microphone/Auxiliary Audio Device”—-”4K USB3.0 Capture”.
   Attention: When record stream video with OBS, it is recommended to use “Hardware (NVENC)” or “Hardware (AMD)” encoding method in order to make reasonable use of computer resources, as shown below.

Does the capture card need a driver?

Free driver, plug and play

What social media are supported for live streaming with this capture card?

Compatible with most platforms like OBS, Youtube, Facebook, etc. (Note: The capture card can not be used at the same time two live software, switch to other live software need to close the current live software)

Can the smart phone be connected with this capture card?

Firstly, smart phones need to support video output, such as iPhone, Huawei, Samsung,etc. Secondly, a USB-C to HDMI or Lingtning to HDMI convertor is needed separately.

There is a picture in the loop out, but no picture in the recording.

Check the computer settings-privacy-camera, whether the camera access permission is turned on.

No picture, no sound, what should I do?

First, check whether the cables are correctly connected,please refer to the CONNECTING AND OPERATING; Then, check whether the Indicator of the capture card is normally on, and confirm all the devices are powered on.

There is a picture but no sound, what should I do?

Follow the SOUND SETTINGS in the manual.

There is sound but no picture.

Check if the USB3.0 cable is connected to the BACK port of computer or if a Hub is used. Please try another USB3.0 port or a Hub.

Poor image quality and high latency, what should I do?

First, check whether the USB3.0 cable is connected to the USB3.0 interface. Then check whether the OBS setting is correct. Please refer to OBS SETTINGS in the manual.
