Before You Begin

Make sure you have the following

  • Theora Link ProTM Smartphone App
  • On/Off Button

Connecting the Watch

  1. Ensure the primary caregiver connects the watch.
  2. Click SCAN QR CODE or ENTER CODE MANUALLY in the app.
  3. Choose between Quik Connect or Call Device mode.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, follow these steps:

If Watch Doesn’t Charge

  1. Ensure the watch battery is not depleted.
  2. Clean the contacts on the back of the watch with rubbing alcohol.

If Watch Doesn’t Power On:
Tap the SOS button to act as a back button and go back.

Trouble with Smartphone App:

  1. To log out, go to your profile page, select SIGN OUT, close the app, then sign in again.
  2. If you forgot your password, select PASSWORD HELP on the login page.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
Q: How do I know if my watch is charging?
A: The red indicator on the charger will show that the watch is charging. You will also hear a voice prompt when it starts charging.

Theora Connect™ Wearable

Before you begin

  1. Charge the Wearable Watch – LED glows red when charging, green when fully charged.
  2. Adjust the Wristband – The wristband should be snug, but not tight.
  3. Power on the Wearable Watch – Press and hold button 20 seconds. Make sure to leave off the charging cradle.
  4. Locate the Watch Phone Number – Located on the back of this guide.

Note: The primary caregiver should be the one to connect the watch

  1. Download the App on Primary’s Phone

  2. Click “CREATE ACCOUNT” and follow the prompts with the Primary Caregiver’s information – NOT the person wearing the watch

  3. Click SCAN QR CODE or ENTER CODE MANUALLY
    Tap on QR Code and swipe from right to left to reveal Manual Code

  4. Quik Connect vs. Call Device
    With Quik Connect, the watch immediately answers without any ringing. With call device, the watch will ring and the wearer must “answer” to connect.

  5. Create Safe Zones

    • From the Settings page, click on “Safe Zones”.
    • Select CREATE A SAFE ZONE at the bottom of  the page
    • Search an address or tap on the map to select the location. Then select “Next” at the bottom of the page
    • Adjust the radius and then select “Next” at the bottom of the page.
    • Name the safe zone and select “Save”

Icons & Indicators

  • Step counter ICON – Track your steps daily and weekly
  • Weather ICON – See the local weather, air quality and receive weather alerts
  • Gear ICON – Menu for watch information and watch settings
  • Power button – Used to turn the watch face on and off. Continuously pressed will reboot the watch
  • SOS button – located on the left side of the watch – the SOS will only call the assigned caregiver

Charger

Green – Fully Charged
Yellow/Orange blinking – The watch is either not on the cradle correctly, the cord is not plugged in completely, or the wall socket is not working correctly
Red – The watch is charging

The watch has a voice prompt to let you know when the watch is on the charger and beginning to charge

Please note: ONLY use the original cable and charging block that came with the watch.

  • Watch Faces – Choose from several different watch faces

  • Lock Down – Lock down the wearer’s ability to navigate the watch

  • Shake to Wake – Watch face wakes up with wrist movement

  • Brightness – User adjustable display brightness

  • Volume – Volume adjustment for sounds and communications

  • Power Off – To easily power off the watch

Troubleshooting

Nothing happens when I place the watch on the charger

  1. The watch battery is depleted
    The watch needs to sit on the charger for 2-5 minutes before you will hear the sentence “Your device is now charging”

  2. Clean the contacts on the back of the watch
    Apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and rub gently

The watch will not power on
Reboot the watch – push the power button firmly for approximately 60 seconds or until you see the green power icon, then let go

Where is the “back” button?
The SOS button also acts as the “back” button. Just tap it once quickly to go back.

I am having trouble with my smartphone application for tracking and calling the watch

  1. Make sure you are signed into your account on the application – you may need to log out and log back in
  2. To log out, go to your profile page, select SIGN OUT and close the application. Then go back into the application and SIGN IN
  3. If you forgot your password, select PASSWORD HELP on the login page
