About
The Tekla PowerFab Connector ensures consistent and up-to-date information
flows to and from the ProNest nesting software. This synchronization
eliminates data duplication and rework, improves data quality, and increases
information sharing across the organization.
Data connectivity is a critical enabler to promote efficiency, increase value,
and maintain competitiveness.
How it works
The Tekla PowerFab Connector is easy to set up and simple to manage. The direct integration provides live communication between the Tekla PowerFab API and the ProNest server. You can easily nest combining runs of parts and plates from PowerFab, ensuring optimal material utilization is achieved in ProNest. As nests are created and processed, results are immediately available in PowerFab.
Standard feature highlights
- A new Plate Sources tab is available in the ProNest Edit Plate List, showing available inventory from PowerFab.
- Requisitions can be created for any orderable plate and specified directly in ProNest.
- Import parts from a PowerFab Combining Run and add parts from other sources in ProNest as needed.
- Send nest and remnant information back to PowerFab, which can be stored for future use.
- View a list of nests in the ProNest web app and complete them as they are processed.
Plate Inventory (Required)
While PowerFab typically provides the primary database for your material inventory, the ProNest Plate Inventory module is still required to save remnants in ProNest and send them to PowerFab.
