Product Usage Instructions

Voice Translation (Online Mode)

1. Ensure successful connection to WiFi/Hotspot.
2. Click on the Voice Translation icon to enter the translation interface.
3. Select Mother tongue language and Foreign language.
4. Long press and hold the input key to speak, and release to translate.
5. Two-way translation supports 139 languages.

Offline Translation Mode

1. Can be used without a network connection.
2. Select Mother tongue language and Foreign language.
3. Long press and hold the input key to speak, and release to translate.
4. Two-way offline translation supports more than 18 languages.

Photo Translation Mode

1. Take a photo and translate the text on it.
2. Click the Photograph icon, select original language and target language.
3. Capture the text by pressing the middle round icon, translation will appear in 3-5 seconds.
4. Use the speaker icons to broadcast the translated text.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Q: Can the device be used with public WiFi networks?
  • A: The device needs to be used in a private network and does not support public or secondary authentication WiFi networks such as airports.

  • A: The maximum input time for voice translation is one minute. Click the speaker icon to play the voice repeatedly for better recognition.

Product Overview

On/Off button

• Power On: Long press the power button until the screen turns on.
• Shut Down: Press the power key for more than 2s, and press” Power off” to turn off the device.
• Reboot: Press ”Reboot” to restart the device.
• Volume key: Adjust the volume”+/-”.
• The main menu contains Voice translation, offline translation, camera translation, recording translation, simultaneous translation, conference, dictionary, language learning, world clock, exchange rate conversion, etc.

Mode

Voice Translation (Online mode)

1. Make sure to connect to WiFi / Hotspot successfully, click the “Voice” translation icon to enter the translation interface first.
2. Select “Mother tongue language ” in the upper left icon, then select “Foreign language” in the upper right icon. As shown below.
3. Long press and hold the “Mother tongue input key” or “Foreign language input key” to speak. After you finish speaking and releasing the key, the translator will automatically translate.
4. Two-way translation languages have 139 languages optional.

Note:

1. This function needs to be used in a private network,NOT support secondary authentication WiFi, such as airport WiFi and public WiFi.
2. The “Mother tongue input key” corresponds to the left translation language. The “Foreign language input key “corresponds to the right language on the screen.
3. Click the speaker icon on the screen to play the voice repeatedly
4. The clearer the voice input is, the more accurate the recognition is. The maximum input time is one minute.

Offline Translation Mode

1. The “Offline translation” mode can be used in an environment without a network.
2. Select “Mother tongue language “in the upper left icon, then select “Foreign language” in the upper right icon. As shown below.
3. Long press and hold the “Mother tongue input key” or “Foreign language input key” to speak . After you finish speaking and releasing the key,the translator will automati- cally translate.
4. Two-way offline translation languages more than 18 languages for optional.

Note:

Photo Translation Mode

1. This mode allows you to take a photo and translate the text featured on it.
2. Click the” Photograph” icon, on the top bar, select the original language you want to take a photo, and select the other language you want to translate on the top right.
3. Take a picture of the text you want to translate by pressing the middle round icon on the screen, the text of the picture will be translated after 3~5 seconds.
4. Click the yellow or blue speaker to broadcast the language.

Note:

1. This function can be used in the environment with or without a network.
   *There are 57 languages that can be translated online mode, 23 languages that can be translated without network mode.
2. Make sure the image quality is good enough to ensure proper text detection.
3. Click the picture at the bottom left corner, and click on the top icon to delete it.

Recording Translation Mode

1. Click the Recording icon and click + icon to select the translation mode. There are three recording modes for optional.
2. Select the translation of the original text /The original/The translation modes. Select the language you want to record and translate on the top bar.
3. Click the speaker button on the screen, the timer will start to record and the text will appear on the screen. Then click “Save recording”

Note:

1. This function needs to be used in a good network environment
2. Click the “Play icon” below to play the input voice
3. Click the”Pencil icon” to clean the recording file and free up space
4. The clearer the voice input, the more accurate the translation.

Simultaneous Interpretation

1. Click the “Enter” icon on the screen, this function can be converted into corresponding text and translated while speaking.
2. It can also be shared with others, please scan the QR code on the screen by Facebook, Google etc., it will be translated to another device simultaneously.

Note:

1. This function needs to be used in a good network environment
2. Click the “Play icon” below to play the input voice
3. Click the”Pencil icon” to clean the recording file and free up space
4. The clearer the voice input, the more accurate the translation.

Input Mode Enter text in the bottom bar to translate your target language, this function only supports English and Chinese currently.

Conference Mode

This function requests two or more devices, click the “Conference” icon. To create a new conference, press Start input your name and select your language then press Input. The device will generate a code to share with other participants. The participants can enter the code and press Join, then enter their name select language and press Input to start.

Learning Mode

This mode allows you to practise the pronunciation of the words you have translated. This mode must be connected with a Wifi network.

SOS Mode

Included different countries’ emergency call numbers.

Tool Mode

Included Dictionary, Clock, Exchange Rate.

Favorites Mode

This mode is used to collect words and sentences or videos that can be reviewed frequently.

Setting Mode

• WiFi setting, Brightness, System Language, Speed, Sound,- Front, Time Zone, Switch input method, Date and time, Update, etc.
• Bluetooth: After turning on the Bluetooth to switch button, you can set the Bluetooth device you want to link to achieve various expansion functions

Note: Charging Power

• This product is not equipped with a power charger.
• The user could use the attached cable and their own charger.
• The power charger must be conformed to the CE/UL certifications.
• Input:100-240V~50/60Hz 0.2A, Output: 5V==1A standard power supply.

FAQ

How is the accuracy of the device?

• In daily dialogue, the accuracy rate is up to 99%.

How to operate and speak properly to make sentences more accurate?

• Press the button for 1~2 seconds properly and then speak. Release the button after you finish.
• Please try to speak standard language and avoid using a mantra or slang.
• Speak consistently, clearly, and naturally. Avoid multiple pauses or merge statements.
• Try to avoid professional terminology words.

If the product crashes while it’s working?

• Press and hold the power button for over 15 seconds, then release the button to see if its screen works or not.

If the product can’t connect to WiFi?

• Make sure the device is connected to WiFi (2.4G mode) and enter the correct password. Or try to connect to your hotspot of cellphone for the test.
• WiFi network requires web page login, such as hotels, airports and public places are not supported.

If the product can’t be turned on?

• To check if the device has run out of battery, please charge it for half an hour, then press the power button for about 3-5 seconds to turn on again.

If the product can’t be charged?

• To Check if it is a properly matched power adapter.
• To Check that the wires and connectors are properly connected.

Note:

• To prevent fire or shock hazards, disconnect your device from the power source when cleaning. Use a soft, clean cloth to clean it.
• This product does not have a waterproof design. Please do not use it in splashing water or other environments that may cause water ingress.
• Do not disassemble this product and its accessories by yourself.

When using the offline function of the new translation device, you do not need to connect to the Internet, Select the corresponding language in the offline translation function,It will automatically load the corresponding language package, It only takes about 5 seconds. Keep in mind that using offline language packs will consume some memory, which may cause a brief lag during startup. This is normal, and your device should function smoothly after a short wait.
