Explanation of Product Storage Capacity
- Device manufacturers typically use decimal (base 10) calculations for capacity, while operating systems like Windows use binary (base 2). This means the actual capacity of the SSD may be slightly less than the nominal capacity. The conversion formula is binary capacity × 1.073741824 = decimal capacity (in GB).
- Decimal capacity units are KB, MB, GB, TB, while binary capacity units are KiB, MiB, GiB, TiB, etc. For convenience, decimal units are commonly used without the letter “i.”
- Decimal capacity calculation: 1MB = 1000KB, 1GB = 1000MB, 1TB = 1000GB.
- Binary capacity calculation: 1MB = 1024KB, 1GB = 1024MB, 1TB = 1024GB.
- According to GB/T 26225-2010 standard, the actual displayed capacity is ≥ 90% of the nominal capacity, which qualifies as a genuine product.

Common Questions and Cautions
- Due to the compact size of the solid state drive, it may generate some heat during use. This is normal and helps ensure the product operates properly and has an extended service life.
- When connecting to a desktop computer, try to connect the product directly to the native USB interface on the computer’s motherboard, typically located on the rear side. Native interfaces provide better power supply capability and more stable USB signals.
- To achieve the highest read/write speeds, make sure to use USB cables (if needed) and host device USB interfaces that support the corresponding high-speed USB interfaces.
- Read/write speeds can be influenced by file types. In general, larger individual/few files have faster read/write speeds, while many small files may have slower read/write speeds.
