Specification of the pellets

The fuel used is called pellets and is a pressed wood sawdust granulate. The exclusive use of quality pellets, preferably from local production, results in an almost neutral environmental impact in terms of CO2, high efficiency and less ash accumulation inside the appliance.

Below you will find the reference parameters for a high-quality pellet:

  • * Diameter = 6 – 8 mm
    • Length = 10 – 30 mm
    • Maximum moisture content 8%
    • Ash residue: less than 1%
    • Density: 650 kg / m³
    • Minimum calorific value: 4.9 kWh per kg / approx. 18000 kJ per kg
    • Raw material: only natural wood, free from chemicals or residues. If binding agents are present, these may only be of natural origin and in minimal quantities.
  •  It is prohibited to use the appliance as an incinerator or to use it in any other way in any way other than the way in which it was built.
  • It is prohibited to operate or commission the appliance with other fuels.
  • The use of fuel that does not comply with the above specifications will not only immediately invalidate the warranty for the appliance, but may also lead to dangerous situations.
  • The manufacturer is not liable for poor performance of the appliance caused by inadequate quality of the pellets.

Filling with pellets / lighting

  • Symbol  Before each START, check that the powerbank is charged.

  • Open the door, take out the pellet container with the special handle and clean the container and the fireplace if necessary.

  • Pour the pellets into the container to a distance of 3 cm from the top.

  • Cover the pellets with two to three pieces of lighting wool.

  • Follow step 7 of the installation steps above to place the combustion barrel in the stove body as required.

  • Check that the pellet container is positioned correctly.

  • Connect the power bank to the USB port.

  • Turn the wind speed adjustment switch clockwise to the desired value.

  • Open the ignition opening cover on the side of the main body, light the flame with a long match (>20cm) or a gas lighter with a long neck and close the ignition opening cover.

  • Close the door.
    Operating

  •  After switching on, the desired flame size can be adjusted by changing the fan speed.

  • To avoid burns, care must always be taken not to touch the combustion drum or the surrounding metal housing with the hands. It is recommended to wear heat-resistant gloves for manipulations on the fan.

  • No user intervention is required during the entire operating time, which is approximately 2.0 to 3.5 hours. The entire pellet load is first burnt through the pyrolysis process and then, in the final phase, through the gasification process (indicated by a blue flame).

  • Make sure that the fan is running all the time, otherwise the flame may go out.

  •  At the end of the operating cycle, the flame goes out by itself without any external intervention. The appliance then enters the cooling phase, which can last 20 to 40 minutes. At the end of the cooling phase, the burner can be refueled.

  • After firing has been completed, the pellet charge must be burnt completely. The process must not be interrupted.

  • Symbol  NOTE! During the first ignition, certain manufacturing residues may still be burnt. This odour may be unpleasant but not harmful. In the course of further use, these possible odour emissions disappear completely

  • It is normal for a minimal amount of ash to remain in the fire tube after each operating cycle. This must be removed before the next start.
