STELLMACHER SM-DPS125 Rigid Stylet - overview

Instructions for use:
To provide support for an endotracheal tube during intubation.

Features:

  1. Clinically clean, packed in clean room and ETO sterilized
  2. Provides maneuverability for placement of an endotracheal tube
  3. Easy to high-level disinfect sterilized by low temperature ethylene oxide gas.
  4. Designed for use with endotracheal tubes.
  5. Easy to use, learn, and teach

Instructions for use:

  1. Load the endotracheal tube onto the stylet, ensure that the distal end of stylet does not extend beyond the distal end of the ET tube.
  2. Position the ET tube at the opening of the vocal cords. Do not advance the stylet past the vocal cords.
  3. When the ET tube is engaged in the glottic openings, extract the stylet 5 cm by use of the thumb pushing up on the thumb tab of the stylet. The partial removal of the stylet from ET tube softens the tip, allowing the tube to pass through the vocal cords.
  4. Position the ET tube as per standard practice.
  5. Remove the styley from ET tube.

Cautions & Warnings:

  1. Read all instructions prior to use.
  2. Product is sterile single use for single patient use only.
  3. Do not use if the product appears damaged – please inspect before use.
  4. During use, the stylet should not protrude beyond the end of the endotracheal tube.
  5. The stylet must not advance into glottis under any circumstances.
  6. .Do not allow the stylet to advance past vocal cords; the ventilation tube should be advanced of the stylet into the airway.

Returned goods policy:

Products must be returned in unopened packages with manufacturer’s seals intact to be accepted for replacement or credit unless returned due to a complaint of product defect.Determination of a product defect will be made by Stellmacher Instruments Inc. Products will not be accepted for replacement if they have used for second time.
