PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE

FIRST STEPS / FIRST TIME USE

  • Pull the battery insulator/insert the battery into the battery compartment to activate the pedometer.
  •  If the LCD display shows unusual characters or the screen freezes and/or no steps are counted, please perform a system reboot. See section: PERFORM REBOOT.
  • When you insert a new battery, the LCD display may show faint background digits. This is normal with a new battery. These will disappear when the battery drops to its normal operating voltage.

STEP COUNTER FUNCTION
The 3D accelerometer counts steps in any position, no matter how you wear it- even in your shirt pocket. The pedometer starts counting as soon as motion is detected.
10 STEPS ERROR CORRECTION
To prevent unintentional movements from being counted as steps, the pedometer only starts counting after ten steps have been detected.

INCORRECT STEP COUNT

The pedometer may not count correctly under the following conditions:

  • Irregular movements like swinging and vibrating
  • Uneven walking speed

RESETTING THE PEDOMETER
To reset the digits of the pedometer to “0”, simply press the RESET button on the back of the device until the display shows the digit 0.

CHANGE BATTERY

The pedometer uses 1 piece CR2032 button cell battery.

  • Unscrew the battery compartment with a coin.
  • Remove the old button cell battery and replace it with a new one. Make sure that the battery is inserted correctly and observe the polarity.
  • Screw the battery compartment tightly shut again.

PERFORM REBOOT
Perform a system reboot in the following situations:

  • When you replace the battery (if necessary)
  • When the LCD digits become unrecognizable or dark.
  • If nothing happens after pressing the button

Remove the battery from the device. This resets the pedometer to the default setting.
The current data on the LCD display is deleted and reset to “0”.

Dispose of the device in accordance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulation 2002/96/EC: WEEE (“Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment”). If you have any queries, please contact the local authority responsible for disposal. The used, completely discharged batteries and rechargeable batteries are to be disposed of via the specially marked collection containers, special waste collection points or via the electrical dealer.
