Product Structure
Instructions before use:

First, sort out the various parts and accessories used for the hardscape lights.

Before installation, please carefully check the input power voltage of the light. The normal use voltage of the light is 12v. If the power supply voltage is more than 12v, a transformer is required. The transformer needs to be purchased separately.

Ensuring the cord of the external power cable is not exposed when connecting the circuit. Make sure there is no metal blocking or covering around the white Bluetooth controller.

The control range of the step lights is 50ft. Performance will vary based on home construction and smart device placement.

The device needs to use a smart bridge to connect Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and the smart bridge needs to be purchased separately.

Product Specifications
- Each light comes with a 9.8ft extension cord.
- Lights, extension cords, and splitters can all be replaced individually.
Installation steps
- Connect port A and port B to connect the light to the splitter cable;
- Use screws and wire nuts to install the light in the location where it needs to be installed;
- Repeat the above operations to complete the connection and installation of all lights.
The device needs to use a smart bridge to connect Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and the smart bridge needs to be purchased separately.
Control Method
Local control (Bluetooth)
- Quantity : A single area can accommodate up to 64 devices, no area limitation, and diversified devices can be managed at the same time.
- Grouping : A single device can have 8 groups at the same time, and a single area can create 32767 groups.
- Function : Each device has the function of sending/forwarding signals to each other, supports multiple users to control the same device at the same time, and supports sharing control with friends and family.
Reset Steps:
- a.Connect all circuits and make sure the device is in the state of light off
- b. Turn on for 5 seconds and then turn off for 2 seconds, and repeat the above action 5 times
- c.The light flashes 3 times and changes to the ‘bright up and fade gradually’ mode.
At this time, the device has been successfully reset and is in a connectable state.
- d.Turn on Bluetooth, open the Haodeng APP, click ‘+’ in the upper right corner of the interface, and click ‘Add Devices’
- e.Click ‘Lamp/Switch/Other’, search for the device and click the corresponding device to connect, click ‘Finish’
Note : When the device cannot be searched or is offline after being connected, please try:
- a. Restart the smart device
- b. Restart your phone
- c. Reset the device, re-enter after exiting the APP, and add the device
How to configure Amazon Alexa
- a. Create your HaoDeng APP account and log in, and successfully add a new device (make sure there is at least one or more).
- b. Click on the sliding menu of the Hao Deng App–> Smart Bridge settings –> Configure Smart Bridge. Set the smart bridge status to the configuration status according to the interface prompt information.
- c. After the smart bridge enters the configuration state, click the ‘Confirm the indicator flashes slowly’ button, select WiFi (Note: 5Gwifi is not supported), and then enter the wifi password. After clicking the ‘Confirm’ button, it will jump to the automatic configuration state. If the configuration is successful, the dialog box ‘Succeed to configure’ will pop up.
- d. Download the Amazon Alexa app, open the sliding menu to find “Skills & Games”, search for “Hao Deng”, and click “ENABLE TO USE” to jump to the Hao Deng binding interface.
- e. Enter your correct Hao Deng account and password, and it will prompt you that the binding is successful.
- f. Click “DISCOVER DEVICES”, or say “Alexa, discover devices” to Alexa to synchronize your Hao Deng’s online devices.
- g. When the device is successfully discovered, the device list will be displayed. You have completed all the settings, and now you can control your light by voice.
How to configure Google Assistant
- a. Create your HaoDeng APP account and log in, and successfully add a new device (make sure there is at least one or more).
- b. Click on the sliding menu of Hao Deng App–> Smart Bridge settings -> Configure Smart Bridge. Set the smart bridge status to the configuration status according to the interface prompt information.
- c. After the smart bridge enters the configuration state, click the ‘Confirm the indicator flashes slowly’ button, select WiFi (Note: 5Gwifi is not supported), and then enter the wifi password. App Control Usage guide

- Functions : 20 kinds of dynamic modes are built-in by default, and new modes can also be customized. Mainly divided into three dynamics: gradual change, jump, strobe, speed, and brightness can be adjusted, and up to 16 colors can be customized.
- MIC : It can receive any sound from the outside world through the microphone of the mobile phone, so that the color of the bulb changes according to the rhythm of the audio level, and the sensitivity of the microphone can be adjusted.
- Music : You can choose to play music songs in the designated music player, and the light will change color with the rhythm of the music to achieve the music rhythm effect.
