Game idea and objective
The classic Brändi Dog game is even more exciting, tactical and varied with Brändi Dog Plus. This addition brings a new element to the game without changing its tried and tested principle. Shortcuts are created with a bit of luck and tactics as well as mean opportunities to send your opponents home.
Setting up the game for 4 players
The Brändi Dog version for 4 players is set up as usual. The Plus element is
now placed in the middle of the board so that the violet markings line up with
the individual board elements (Fig. 1).
Setting up the game for 6 players
The Brändi Dog version for 6 players is set up as usual. The two Plus elements
are now placed in the middle of the board. (Fig. 1).
Starting the game
You can only move onto the Brändi Dog Plus board if there is one marble on a
segment’s last field (field 6 from the start, fig. 2) for at least one round.
This field must be passed while entering or leaving „Plus-field“. Any card may
be used for this. The 6 card is therefore very important right from the
start.
Leaving the Plus field
It is possible to leave by all the entry fields without the marble stopping
there.
There is not one specific playing direction on the Brändi Dog Plus. However, the full number of the points on the laid cards must be moved in one go/ in one direction, you can only change direction on your next turn. The circle in the middle of the Dog Plus oard can be moved around as many times as you like (Fig. 3).
The usual Brändi Gog rules apply to all the other game situations.
The 7 card
With the 7 card you can move your marble directly to the Plus board without
completing a waiting round.
There is not one specific playing direction for the 7 card on the Plus board
and you can move in different directions during your turn (Fig. 4).
This rule only applies as long as the marble is on the Plus board.
