Charging The Headset

Fully charge the headset before using it for the first time.

Method 1: Charge the headset via the supplied charging cable.

  1. Connect the small end of the charging cable to the type-C port.
  2. Connect the other end to a USB wall charger (not supplied in the package).

Method 2: Charge the headset via the charging stand.

  1. Connect the charging stand and the power supply with the supplied charging cable.
  2. Get the Type-C port of the headset inserted by the charging plug on the stand, and place the headset firmly to charge.

Bluetooth Connections

Oleap Pilot connects with mobile devices via Bluetooth

  1. Start Oleap Pilot’s Bluetooth pairing mode
    • In the off state, press and hold the multi-function button until you hear the prompt “Pairing”, and the headset indicator flashes red and blue alternately.
  2. Pair Oleap Pilot with a mobile Bluetooth device
    • Turn on the Bluetooth of the mobile device, find and select “Oleap Pilot” in the Bluetooth list, after successful pairing, you will hear the prompt “Device one connected”, and the indicator light of the headset flashes blue slowly.
  3. Pair the Oleap Pilot with a second Bluetooth device
    • After the first bluetooth device is successfully connected, triple press the multi-function button until you hear the Pairing prompt, and the headset indicator light flashes in red and blue alternately, you can pair with another device at the same time, please refer to the above for the connection process.
    • Oleap Pilot can connect up to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

Dongle Connections

  1. How to connect the dongle
    • Insert the supplied Bluetooth dongle into the USB port of the computer. After the headset is turned on, it will automatically pair with the dongle.
    • If the dongle has connected to two Bluetooth headsets, you need to disconnect at least one of them before pairing it with the dongle.
    • Note:
    • The Windows system usually sets the newly installed headset as the default audio input and output device.
    • If the headset is not set as the default device, please click the sound settings icon (») in the lower right corner of the computer, select and confirm that the playback device is Oleap Pilot, and it will work normally.
    • The MAC OS system will not set the newly installed headset as the default audio input and output device.
    • After the installation is successful, you need to enter Settings—>Open the Sound Settings —-> Select the input device and the output device as Oleap Pilot, and it will work normally.
  2. Dongle button function
    • Pairing the dongle with other Oleap headsets
    • After plugging the dongle into the computer for the first time, press and hold the button on the dongle for about 3 seconds to enter the pairing mode, and the dongle indicator light flashes red and blue alternately.
    • Trigger the other Oleap Bluetooth headset into Bluetooth pairing mode, and pair it with the dongle; the dongle indicator light turns solid blue after successful pairing.
    • Delete pairing list
    • Press and hold the button on the dongle for 10 seconds, and then the dongle indicator flashes yellow 3 times quickly, which means the deletion is complete.
  3. The connection status between the dongle and Oleap Pilot
    • Reconnect automatically After Oleap and the dongle are disconnected due to a long distance, they can automatically reconnect when they return to the normal Bluetooth distance.
    • Standby mode If there is no headset pairing within 5 minutes, it will enter standby mode, and the blue light will flash slowly.
    • Oleap Pilot will reconnect automatically after power on
    • When the dongle is in the standby state, the headset automatically reconnects to the dongle when it is powered on.
    • To connect the dongle to another new Oleap headset
    • Firstly delete the pairing list, and then the dongle will enter pairing mode automatically.
    • Turn on your new Oleap Bluetooth headset and trigger the pairing mode to connect with the dongle.
  4. Dongle indicator lights
    • Blue light flashes slowly Disconnected with headset Not connected to any headset
    • Red and blue lights flash alternately: Paring mode
    • Solid blue: Paired successfully/playing music
    • Solid red: Headset microphone muted
    • The yellow light flashes 3 times: Pairing list deleted

Care And Maintenance

  • When not in use, fold the microphone up and place the headset flat into the carry case.
  • Make sure to power off the headset when not in use.
  • Before storing the headset for more than a few months, make sure the battery is fully charged.
  • Wipe the outside surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Don’t allow moisture to get inside the headset or the microphone.
