Setting Up Your Camera: Connection via arpha App (Recommended)

Before You Get Started
Download and open the arpha App from the App Store or Google Play Store. Once open, please register for a arpha account. or sign in if you have ane already.

Minimum Requirements: To help ensure a smoother video experience on the smartphone, it’s recommended that your smartphone has the following:

  • i0S; version 8.1 or higher.
  • Android: 4.1 or higher, using a device with a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU] function.

Camera Setup Steps (WiFi)

  1. Please Connect the power adapter to the camera, and wait for a few moments until the camera alerts you that the indicator lightflashes red quickly.”

  2. Make sure that your smartphone is connected o your wireless router (It has to be on the 2.4GHz channel if you have 2 dual-band router).

  3. Launch the arpha app. click “Add Device’ . then select *
    Security ty8Video Surveillance”, and follow the screenshot below.

  4. Make sure the Red indicator on the device is blinking. then press “Next Step’. If the operation failed, press the reset button for over 5 seconds)

  5. Enter your Wi-Fi network and password click.* Next

  6. Scan the QR Code on your phone with camera. Heard a prompt toneclick ” Next ”

  7. When the indicator light on the device turns from ashing red light to steady green light. the network configuration is complete

Note: Vour smartphane will need to be connected to the 24GHz channel ifyou have a dual-band router

Hardware Installation

Place the camera directly on a desk.

Important Notice

Camera Username & Password
The camera username & password are used to access and manage your camera. Having astrong password can improve the security of your camera signizcantly. If you have forgotten either of them, please press and hold the *Reset’ button on the camera while it’s powered on to restore it to factory default settings. After hearing the voice prompt. release the button. The camera will automatically reboot and the default settings will be restored. After restoring to the factory default settings. please delete the camera from arpha App. and then add it again.
Storage Media
Your camera supports cloud.and Micro SD card (only supports FAT-32 format) storage formats. If you wish to record and playback large amounts of video, we recommend using cloud service

  • Please instal the camera and bracket securely using the screws provided

Yes, you can share your cameras withfamily and friends who wil have accessto view the camera and control your bulbsplugs. and other devicesn the app press the Profile button and click on the'Home Management” button, and you willbe able to give o revoke sharingpermissions. In order to share. the otheruser should already have downloaded theapp and registered a new account.

2.The device appears of ine or unreachable?

Make sure your Wi-Fi router is online and inrange. Make sure you have the latest appfunctionality by clicking “Check for firmwareupdate* in your device settings.

3. How many cameras can | control?

arpha app can control an unlimitedamount of devices in an unlimited amountof locations. Your router may have a limit ofhow many devices can be connected toone router.
