Product Usage Instructions

Applying the Brakes:

To slow down or stop the rollator during use, pull both brake controls up. The brake control will automatically return to the original position when released, allowing the rollator to be used again.

Checking and Adjusting the Brake System:

It is important to check and adjust the brake system according to the instruction manual when you receive the product. This is necessary as the product may have experienced excessive bumps during transit, potentially affecting the brake system’s functionality.

Locking the Wheels:

Push the brake control down until the end to lock the rear wheels with the brake pads. This allows you to sit down and rest. Ensure the rollator is stationary before locking the wheels. Pull the brake control up to release it and resume using therollator.

Brake System Adjustment:

If you find that the brake does not work or cannot lock the rear wheels completely, it may indicate that the brake is loose. Follow these steps for adjustment:

  1. If the brake is loose, turn the nut counterclockwise on the brake cable end gradually using wrenches until tight.
  2. Alternatively, you can turn the nut clockwise to loosen it.

Note : There should be a gap of 2-3mm between the brake pads and the wheels when the brake control is released.

  • Q: What should I do if the brakes are not working effectively?
    • A: If you find that the brakes are unable to effectively stop or lock the wheels during use, please stop using the rollator immediately. Do not resume use until the brake system has been checked and correctly adjusted.

Apply the Brakes

To slow down or stop the rollator during use, pull both brakes control up. As shown in (P7).
The brake control automatically returns to its original position when released, and the rollator can be used again.

Lock the Wheels

Push the brake control down until the end. It means the rear wheels are completely locked by the brake pads so that you can sit down and have a rest for a bit. As shown in (P8) & (P9).

Note : Make sure the rollator is stationary before operation.
Pull brakes control up to release it and rollator can be used again.

Warning

If you find the brakes are unable to effectively use or lock the wheels during use, please stop using the rollator immediately.
Do not use the rollator again only if the brake system has been checked and correctly adjusted.

Please firstly check and adjust the brake system according to this instruction manual when you receive the products because sometimes we can not guarantee whether the products you received have experienced excessive bumps in the process of transferring goods, resulted from the brake system does not work.

Brake System Adjustment

Note : If you find the brake does not work or cannot lock the rear wheels completely, normally it means the brake gets loose.

  1.  If the brake is loose, you could turn the nut counterclockwise on the brake cable end by wrenches until tightens gradually, as shown in (P10) & (P11).
  2. Or else you could turn the nut clockwise to lose it.
    • Note : There must be a gap of 2-3 mm between the brake pads and the wheels when the brake control is released.
